Well I couldn’t sleep so up early and made a couple of Halloween themed tumblers. Haven’t made anything for a while but hoping to start a website for my creations in the near future so watch this space. Also going to share a few videos of how I make things (I think 🤔)These are for me and Kayla but if anyone wants one let me know, £12 each. Can deliver for added P&P or you can collect from shop on Parkside.

Thank you Jayne Swift for the most amazing birthday present for my 50th. A lovely alpaca walk with Knightley Alpaca Trekking. Meet Teddy (White and Cuddly) and Carlos (tanned, long lashes and a bit like an Essex boy), Jayne Swift’s words not mine, but I totally agree. I’ve smiled so much I think my face will ache for weeks. Thank you so much Clare. I would recommend your wonderful small business to anyone who loves animals. Everything about the experience was perfect, even the weather was kind 🤩. Can’t wait to go again 🥰Jayne Swift Knightley Alpaca Trekking
Meet Wally, he is usually really quite unsure in the salon, but is always a joy to groom. Today hubster popped in to say hello and Wally was over the moon to have the male female ratio balanced out and was desperate for him to come and say hello. Anyway, he has been such a good clever boy today, I thought I would let you all see him so he can stand in the spotlight for a little while. He really does deserve it 🤩. Please send him some love 🥰
One of my customers dogs, really proud of this one, happy to make them for anyone that wants one, can adapt to suit 🥰
Lovely Daisy and Tilly, now have their own plaque. So much detail captured. really proud of this one 🥰

This is my actual dogs face, etched onto a slate, my crazy Cooper, actually looks quite stunning, even if I say so myself. This same picture can also be engraved onto wood, I will post pics as I get to know my machine and all its capabilities. Meanwhile, if anyone wants to me to do something like this for their dogs, let me know. It would be my pleasure x
Would appreciate as many likes and shares as you can please . Thank you in advance
I really love this 🥰
I’m a little tired today, stayed awake until 2.30 am creating this! I’m addicted to crafting🤣🤣🤣🤣, if anyone wants me to make them one, let me know Lisa Lawrence, now on display Scallywags Dog Grooming Studio
Afternoon tea and a trip on a barge courtesy of my lovely friend Michelle Mills, and then an impromptu overnight stay in Liverpool with Rich Lawrence. What an amazing weekend I’ve had.
We are closed now until the 28th May, all enquiries will be answered/replied to upon our return xx
Use this on my cocker spaniel and makes such a difference. Samples on display at he shop if anyone want to take a look. They’re really good quality and I highly recommend trying them out. It’s always good to support our local businesses so if you’re in the market for a new harness, why not take a look
1. You gain more control. By attaching the lead onto the dog’s chest this creates that light pressure to allow them to walk beside you rather than pull ahead.
2. No choking. The harness is not around the dog’s neck leaving the dog free from being choked (unlike attaching the lead to the dog’s collar, this causes choking when the dog pulls).
3. Prevent injuries associated with pulling, such as collapsed trachea or neck sprains if attaching the lead to the dog’s neck.
4. As well as prevention from pulling, it will help you as the walker and prevent any aches and strains.
5. Your dog will be overall more happy and more comfortable!

🥰EDUCATIONAL POST-PUPPY OWNERS🥰 So many breeders of poodle crosses recommend that their coat isn’t cut until they are 6 months old? This to try and get a curlier coat. Unfortunately this means that most of these puppies miss out on puppy pampers during this time. A puppy learns so many new things during their first six months and are generally most accepting of new experiences during this time. Many dogs that have not been introduced to the salon environment as puppies are scared of the salon and develop behavioural issues around being groomed. I cannot stress how important puppy pampers are for your dogs and recommend that they have at least three pampers as a puppy during their first six months. This is not something groomers do to make money from you, (infact, most groomers work at a discounted rate with puppies), this is something to help your dog with training and desensitisation. Your dog will always need to be groomed 6-8 weekly for the rest of their lives and none of us want that experience to be traumatic. My best advice is to book and attend the puppy pampers, groom your dog daily at home, offer high value treats whilst doing so which will affirm that grooming is a positive experience and introduce your puppy to as many experiences as possible during their first six months - trust me - it’s the best advice I can give 🐶🐾🥰
