🛜 Moving house? New number? Remember to update the details linked to your cat’s microchip if anything changes, like your address or contact number.
🐈 Keeping your details up to date gives the best chance for you to be reunited with your cat if they ever get lost. Even indoor cats and cats with collars should be microchipped.
You can usually check and update your details online by visiting the database you are registered with. Your vet can also check the details for you, but they cannot update them.

***** update pixie leaves for her new home this week****
Pixie is a female Lilac Point spayed female who is 8 years old. She loves playing with toys and watching out the window as she has been an indoor cat for most of her life and would need another indoor home where she is a an only cat. Her elderly owner needed her rehomed as she was not able to look after her and this caused some issues which made Pixie wary of people and defensive but this aspect has been addressed by her foster carer and she is now affectionate once she trusts you and a normal Siamese character. Her new owner would need to be understanding and gain her confidence. She has had tummy issues which have been fully investigated by the vets and she now has a clean bill of health. It is likely that some of these were stress-related and should they re-occur, SCWT can give guidance and financial support with any medication required in the future. She is are currently with our Foster Carer in Ely, Cambridgeshire.
