I’ll never forget watching the planes go into the World Trade Center, i remember lying on my bed as the news came on , I ran down to my parents and we just watched in horror.
We popped to the chippy and we all stood there watching it unfold on the little tv totally bewildered by it.
So many people and dogs went out to help that day and never came back.
We should always remember 💜

I clipped Albert today, it took a little time as he is unsure of the clippers but with some treats and lots of breaks, we got there. I constantly adapt my grooming approach with him to try and make his session less stressful.
Lovely handstrip the other day this little fella was amazing. His guardians like is face left long.

Heartworm disease in dogs can have a range of symptoms that become more obvious as the disease progresses:
Class 1
No symptoms or mild symptoms like an occasional cough
Class 2
Mild to moderate symptoms like an occasional cough and tiredness after moderate activity
Class 3
More severe symptoms like a sickly appearance, a persistent cough, and tiredness after mild activity
Advanced cases
Congestive heart failure can cause the abdomen and legs to swell from fluid accumulation

Leia is so sweet, still working on her head area as she is nervous about tools near her face, luckily her guardian understands that I won't hold her tight to get it done, we do a little bit each time she comes in.
Symptoms of tapeworms in dogs can vary depending on the severity of the infection but may include:
Itchy bottom
Dogs with flea tapeworms may develop an itchy bottom, causing them to scoot or rub on the ground.
Visible tapeworm segments
You may be able to see segments of tapeworms in your dog's stool or around their a**s, which look like small, white grains of rice or sesame seeds. After drying out, they may also resemble dried grains of rice attached to the fur around the a**s and under the tail.
Other symptoms
Other symptoms may include diarrhoea, intestinal blockage, anaemia, failure to grow, irritability, and decreased appetite.
Please seek veterinary advice if you think your dog has tapeworms.

I adore Phoebe but she a little stressed when it comes to grooming, to make her feel comfortable i groom her on the floor so that she can move away from me at any time she needs a break also she has a stuffle matt filled with tasty treats just to help her relax as I clip her. Phoebe is clipped first and then bathed as she is fearful of the dryer this cuts down drying time meaning less stress and a happier Phoebe!
Last week it was Nell's birthday she was ten! She's a pleasure to groom and I always look forward to seeing her.
