We had the pleasure of meeting Max today at the salon for a bath and dry. It was his first time in a dog grooming salon, so slow and steady we went! Max settled into the environment before his bath and dry began as he was very nervous. He did absolutely amazing! Not a big fan of being dried, but we got there. Well done, Max. Today we had the pleasure of grooming Chase 🐶

Short Bark N Sides is a new groomers for Chase and a new environment so it was very understandable for him to be quite nervous and unsure.

He was beautifully behaved in the bath with a lot of reassurance from the Groomer & team.

Then nails…. this is where Chase became quite unhappy and stress levels increased.

As you may already know here at Short Bark N Sides the dogs well being is our number 1 priority and we take great pride in ensuring it is an enjoyable experience for all dogs and work at their pace.

After a couple of attempts we decided Chase might feel more at ease with Nanny in the room and this is exactly what happened. Nanny held chase whilst he had his nails cut and although still not keen a big difference was seen in his behaviour.

So today a new groomer, a new environment and new faces we conquered a lovely bath&dry experience, lots of cuddles and the front nails trimmed. We call that a WIN!

Nanny and Chase will be visiting next week so we can finish the back paws and keep chase happy 😊
