Pet Dog Grooming in Stamford Lincolnshire, level 2 & 3 qualified, also vetskills first aid trained. We also groom dogs from Oakham Rutland, and surrounding villages. My name is Rebecca and I took up grooming as I had a disabled dog and realised the benefits of grooming as part of his physio. I did my training at the Animal welfare college as this is also a working grooming salon so it gave me the work experience as well.

About Me

Hi my name is Rebecca and at the moment I’m level 2 trained and doing extra training The Animal Welfare College For my Level 3 Dog Grooming. I choose this college as I wanted the work experience as well as the qualification and this college is also a working grooming salon where the public bring their beloved dogs. A lot of the other colleges required us to provide our own dogs to work on to get the qualification which i felt wasn’t really giving me the training in handling dogs that don’t know me. so I also have the work experience in dog grooming.

I have owned dogs all my life and at the moment I have a Labrador and Cocker Spaniel, but I’m also after a red standard poodle. I care gratefully for the welfare of dogs and believe grooming your dog has great health benefits I learnt this after having a dog that had a spinal injury and was paralysed from the middle backwards and we had to teach him to walk again which he did quite successfully. Part of helping him was recover was grooming him to get his circulation going before his physio, hence why I wanted to learn more about the grooming and its health benefits.

As I begin to groom more I will upload photos for you to see, but at the moment my photos all belong to the college grooming salon, so please keep checking back for updates.
