I am experienced dog trainer with over 19 years of working closely with dogs and specialist training techniques. For a number of years now, friends and family have asked me to help them with their pet dogs, and I often receive calls about various dog related issues. I love what I do, and especially love the dogs...however, it is not usually the dogs fault! I am continually learning about dogs

and new methods, and I strongly believe "Every dog has its own mind." I am also a dog owner myself and this I believe enables me to empathise with my clients and understand the need for a well behaved dog both at home and in public (pubs!!). I work very closely with dog owners to help them understand how the dog thinks and what is required in each situation. My sessions are about giving you the confidence to manage and train your dog in your own time and ultimately give you long term control over the situation. I would recommend an initial session at your chosen location, if preferred, where we assess the level and style of training required for your pet. I am here to offer my knowledge to help you get the best relationship you should have from the one you love. Areas that can be focused on include:
Obedience
Recall
Socialisation
Home life - nipping, jumping etc. Prices start from below for one dog per session:

£70 initial consultation session and training (60 mins approx)

£50 standard training session after the first consultation

Other forms of training to be discussed on a case by case basis. Please contact me via the email address or message me on this page for further details and I will share my contact number with you. Note: I reserve the right to decline working with a particular dog/ owner should the circumstances not be right for either party or the safety of myself, the dog or the public is at risk.

This is Leo. Leo is one of the quickest dogs to react to training I have probably had. So quick to pick up on what was being asked of him was impressive. Bouncy and vocal he was quick to understand the assignment. Mum and Dad have some work to do.

Lovely Coco was the subject of tonight's training. Don't let the pic deceive you she is tiny. She was so quick in picking up on training that Mum and Dad were doing. Tonight they just wanted to make sure it was correct and in the right context. Some tips and tricks to help with certain things but they are on the path to success.

1 hour training session that was supposed to be for Mable (right) and ended up being for Daisy (Jack R). Daisy has been inadvertently rewarded for undesirable behaviours which has led to her being always tense and on edge. Mum and Dad have some work to do but are on the right path to changing her mindset.

This beautiful girl had a great training session to help with controlling some of her manners when people visit the house. We worked on lead discipline and little bit of recall. With consistency and direction she will understand what the rules are.

Fantastic training session with young Labrador Max. He is typically bouncy and what's to greet everyone with life. Mum and Dad are on the right path to teaching manners and how to greet people properly.

Great training with little bouncy Alfie the cockapoo. He is definitely full of beans and just needed to be taught some new rules. Mum has some homework to do but already seeing a difference. Changing his mindset is a priority.

Tonight's training was all about Ollie (on the right). He feels the need to lunge at runners, bikes and anyone he feels he needs to. It's all about body language from Mum that needs to show him she is in control. Great session and Mum will do great.

A Lovely training session tonight with 6 month old Honey. She is still trying to understand the rules in the house and how to act when greeting people. With a little direction we were able to see almost instant results.

A very positive training session with cute little Winnie. She has been inadvertently rewarded for meeting guests at a hightened state. Tonight's training was to adjust how she behaved but also anyone that she meets has been trained to adjust how they react. Great session with instant results. Now to continue.

Majestic and bouncy Gus loves to say hello to everyone in the house but doesn't quite know his limits. Last night's training was to teach some rules of the house and help when visitors arrive. Mum and Dad have nailed the outside work but lost their way indoors. Really good training session with great results.

This is young Casper. He is full of life and loves to show it. Tonight's session was about control and learning some new rules and how Mum and Dad can deliver those. Now Mum and Dad are on the right path Their time spent together will be more enjoyable.

This is Louie, the star of tonight's training. Mum and Dad have been dog owners before but wanted some guidance and reassurance. We worked a more stringent routine for Louie as he tended to wee in the house still. We got a very good stay during the session which will help when out and about. Lots of work but fun to be had.

Last night's training was a steady session with Angus. He was a little wary of me but this was his issue of resulting in vocal greeting rather than nice and calm. Mum and Dad worked on some body language cues and helped him express himself in better and calmer ways.

Not every dog has to be a T*at. It's all about understanding the mechanism of them being in that frame of mind and adjusting their mindset. It's usually the owner that compounds the issue.

Bella and Bronx had a little training session last night, well more Bella. Bella had an accident when younger and is now nervous of alot of things going on in the world. We worked on rebalancing her reactions to things with body language and ensuring she was calm.

Say hi to beautiful little Lexxie. Lexxie is only a few months old and her Mum and Dad wanted to get her start in life right. Mum and Dad are experienced dog owners but wanted to make sure they were getting it right. They certainly are and doing amazingly.

Say hello to young Barney. Barney likes to greet everyone with noise and energy but it has been getting a bit much so Mum and Dad asked for help. Changing the mindset in the house and calming things down will help in the future and enabling Barney to understand that attention comes when he is calm. Lots of work to do but they will crack it together.

Lovely session with Geoff tonight. Mum and Dad are very experienced dog owners but like everyone else have found it difficult during lockdowns. Geoff is already controllable but also looks for that extra reassurance from Mum and Dad. This can be projected through jumping up and being quite forceful. A few techniques to help out on the right direction.

Last night's training session was with this lovely little fellow, Loki. Such a lovely little dude he has a tendency to pick up pebbles and stones in the garden. With a little mindful training and stimulation this will reduce over time. Loki is definitely a Daddies boy but it should balance out.

Check out this tiny bundle called Milo. Milo is a GSD x Mali and is only 10 weeks old. Milo is at the perfect age to start any kind of training. He will be able to soak up all the information that surrounds him making it an important time for growth.

Say hello to lovely Lyza. This bouncy 1 yr old GSD just loves to say hi to everyone. She was getting a bit much for Mum and Dad on walks and can want to lunge and pull all over. We went through some training to help her calm down and concentrate and be a little more polite. Some work to do to keep her stimulated and occupied. Great session.

Coco is a lovely little 12 week old Golden doodle. She is super happy and super bouncy pup and is learning the ways of the world. Mum and Dad have been doing great but just needed a little guidance. Coco is a very quick learner and a little marker training will stimulate her and keep her grounded.

Say hello to Romanian rescue Mia. She is settling in well with her new family. Last nights session was about guidance on a few techniques and ways to keep her mind stimulated. She is so lovely with the children and they love seeing her do new things. Good luck with the training.
