Such sad news today, Charlie has joined Lola over the rainbow bridge. These two have been with me for the whole of my Wagtails journey and were such characters, we will miss you xx

A round up of the week. Blue skys and sunshine have made for a productive time, mowing and strimming grass, weeding and jet washing the yard. Dog agility stuff set up and maybe the paddling pool will come out tomorrow 🐶

The rainy theme continues but at least it’s warm, the grass is growing, which means ticks are on the increase, check your dog regularly for them and buy a tick hook so they can be removed safely.
I’m pleased to say the cuckoo has returned this last week, better late than never.

Lots of spring jobs done this week, jet washing the barn, mowing the grass, planting a few flowers. On the farm, a few pet lambs weaned, fertiliser on the grass fields and fields re sown after the bad weather.

A week of sunshine and showers and at last the ground is drying up a bit. Our dog garden grass needs another cut but we are still busy lambing so that will have to wait.

Happy Easter everyone! It’s all happening at the farm, no Easter bunnies but we have lots of calves and lambs arriving day and night for the next few weeks.
Enjoy the 🌞 ( we desperately need it to stop raining ) this weekend and remember to keep your 🐕 on a lead especially at this time of year. Xx

We are busy on the farm preparing for lambing, whilst the calving has begun at a pace. Easter will be a blurr I suspect as always!

We can’t wait for spring to come after the wettest winter ever, some green grass and daffodils will be welcome.
No lambs here yet, we start at the end of March so hope the weather will be kinder then.

Hi all
Polite reminder that if you make a booking for the first time it must have a booking form completed and deposit paid.
The names on the form and the bacs payment and also emails must match or have a reference. Why?….Because it makes sense and makes life so much easier!!!! Thank you xx
