Just the two today. Thula for Leanne as she is so busy. Had her first puppy groom. Anyone wanna guess her breed? She is 18 weeks old. Looking forward to seeing Leanne work her magic on her when she visits Leanne next time. So good for her puppy pamper. Then I had my regular sweetheart Teddy for his pamper. He loves a good chorus in the bath. Such a dude even though he likes to guilt trip in granddad when he gets dropped off. He loves it all really.

Day at home waiting for an gas engineer so I decide to fill it with grooming and of course housework. Today was Jude the Dude turn for his cocker trim. Doesn't he look dashing!!! He gives the best snuggles. Then Darling Duchess Sadie needed an emergency bath despite only groomed the other day. Fresh as a daisy now. Finally to help the moulting hair I gave my best friends dog Stella (my adopted girl)a bath to help with shedding hair everywhere. And the gas man came and said house smells lush!!! Wonder why !!!! See you next time beauties. Now time for housework!!!!

Today's beauties started with Percy for pre school run pamper so a nice early start. Good bath and tidy up for this little gent.Then we had Hugo for his pamper and he was filthy so that wouldve been a good before and after had I remembered the before picture!!!! 😤🚫 NO SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS 🚫😤

There is nothing more damaging (or frustrating!) to a self employed person than people who don’t show up for their appointment, or people who cancel at the very last minute. There has been alot just recently.

When I book your dogs in for their appointments, they are booked in for a time slot of anywhere between 1 and 2 hours depending on their breed, if you don’t bring your dog to their appointment, I cannot fill that time meaning that I am not only sitting around twiddling our thumbs (feeling VERY cross!), I'm also NOT EARNING.

The average groomer loses somewhere between £100-£400 per month in no shows and late cancellations. PER MONTH!! 😱

Imagine having that amount of money taken out of your wages each month and think about how that would affect you. It’s a huge loss!

Despite how it may appear and as much as I adore my job, I am not here to play with your dogs all day, I am here to earn a living and I can only do that if you bring your dogs to their appointments.

I am now going to have to start charging for no shows and cancellations less then 24 hours notice, the fee will be the full price of the groom and I really hope this helps to explain why it is so necessary.

Today's beauties and regulars started with Frank and Ralph for short back and sides. Then we had Midge and Dexter for face/feet and nails whilst Leanne did their teeth cleaning. (Leanne offers teeth cleaning in her/the salon so if you need them doing have a chat with her and it can be done alongside any grooming if needed) And finally sweet little Pearl for her freshen and tidy up. Busy bee 🐝🐝 first up are regulars Biscuit and Cookie. Little sweethearts these two. Darling sweetheart Frankie sporting an even up after surgeries prior to Christmas. Lovely to see her looking well now. Then I had my little regular little gem Missy for a face and feet tidy up. Then finally new to the Wiffy Woofers family is Poppy. Just the one today and that is my little mountain goat Milou the Maltese for his short back and sides. He is such a neck cuddley boy. He isnt a fan of his legs being clipped or scissored but we get there. This is my neighbours dog and I've been grooming him several years now so we have a good trust and understanding. Plus he knows where the treat pot is!!! See you in couple months my little Milou ♡♡
