🌞🐾 Summer Sniffing Adventures Begin at Field for Dogs! 🐾🌞

Hey there, Sussex dog lovers!

Exciting news – I'm launching UK Sniffer Dogs Summer Sessions at Field for Dogs.

Ready for a scent-filled summer with your four-legged friend? Check out session details below! ⬇️

🐶 UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze Course: Kicks off Thursday, 2nd May at 7pm.
This 6-week course introduces you and your dog to the fascinating world of scent detection, focusing on identifying and alerting the scent of a red KONG. Your dog will learn through fun searches including scent pots, chairs, novel environments, and even vehicles! The journey culminates in a fun mock trial in week 6.

🐶 Bronze Series 1 Workshops: Sunday, 12th May (10am-2pm) or Friday, 14th June (1pm-5pm).
These 4-hour sessions focus on the foundational elements of scent work, a perfect introduction to start you and your dog off on your scent work journey.

🐶 Another Round of Fun: Another Bronze Course starts Thursday, 11th July at 7pm. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to embark on a scent adventure with your dog.

The text message service we use to send out the gate code has got a little confused with the clocks changing!

They are still being sent an hour before your booking with the correct gate code, however please disregard the time stated in the message, which is currently an hour out.

I’ll try to get this fixed ASAP!

Let’s talk p**p! 💩

This past week I’ve picked up more missed dog poos in the field than in the previous three months combined. 😱

And understandably seeing lots of p**p is upsetting for all users, especially our regulars who have noticed the increase.

We all understand that sometimes it's genuinely hard to find where our dogs have done their business, especially in such a spacious area. It happens to the best of us!

Just a reminder, our community policy is simple: if you see a poo, please pick it up, even if it's not from your dog. Next time, you might be the one looking for a lost poo, and we all appreciate a clean field to enjoy with our furry pals.

In related news, some of you are aware of the difficulties I’ve had regarding this, but I’ve been told that THE POO BIN WILL ARRIVE THIS WEEK! 🥳

Until it's in place, please continue to take any waste home with you.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. Together, we can keep the field a beautiful and safe place for all our four-legged friends.

Hey everyone! Quick heads-up about our field gate... 🅿️

I've noticed some visitors are trying to pull the gate towards them to get in. Due to the lay of the land, it doesn't quite open all the way that way.

Instead, give it a gentle push inwards, and voilà, it'll swing open all the way to the fence, making your drive in and out a breeze! 🚗

We've had a lot of enquiries since the Government announced that they were adding XL Bullies to the UK's banned breeds list.

It has taken some time for our insurance company to make a decision, but here's the good news — if your pup has a Certificate of Exemption, they're welcome to run free at Field for Dogs! 🌳🐶

There are a few extra T&Cs to be aware of, which you can find on our website, however your dog will be able to run free without a muzzle and just enjoy being a dog! ❤️
