Happy 7th birthday to our beautiful Shula - officially a senior! I'm not sure sighthounds ever really grow up though, never too old for snuggles and cuddles. 💗

I am very sad to be posting this so close to Christmas but beautiful Molly very sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Friday. I have been walking / popping-in/ boarding Molly for a few years now and she was one of the happiest, most smiley dogs I have ever met and an absolute pleasure to look after, always bringing me a toy when I went to pick her up.

You would never have thought she was an older girl, still a puppy at heart but as often is the way, their bodies are ready to leave this world before we ever are and on Friday Molly's lovely mum phoned with the most devastating news. I was able to go and say goodbye to Molly before her final journey and I will be forever grateful to her owners for thinking of me whilst having to make the most difficult decision we make as owners.

I have so many memories but I think these photos capture Molly personality perfectly and this is how I will remember her. My heart is so broken for her owners as they deal with that unbearable ache, forever is such a short time when it comes to our doggy companions.

Run free Molly, I, along with all your doggy friends you leave behind, are going to miss you, your smiley face and your little trot so, so much. Sending Molly's mum and dad so much love especially it being this time of year, she really was so lucky to have you but I know you will say the same. 💔🐾🌈

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. Due to running out of time, my intended Christmas photo didn't go quite to plan so I thought I would share this photo of our beautiful Tara who we lost this year, Christmas is going to be very different without her. Sending lots of love to those who need it, this year has been a very sad year for many.

I also wanted to say thank you for another year of business and support, without you I couldn't do what I do and I feel very lucky to be in the position I am.

I am still working/ open for boarding over Christmas but I am taking my usual break from my business pages until the New Year. I will be checking messages but I may take longer than usual to reply.

A busy day in the sunshine between walks and pop-ins.

Happy Friday! Today's walks with Tinsel, Shula, Ozzy, Darcie, Mabel, Bruce, Pluto and Poppy.

Happy Halloween! Today's walks and pop-ins. Not very spooky but we had a very friendly squirrel follow us when walking Molly and I had to include him/ her in my photos.

This morning's walks and pop-ins. The woods and their colours are so beautiful at the moment (if you know me well, you will know I love trees and how they change).

I didn't take any photos on my first two walks but here's a little snippet of the little river and lake forming in the woods. Towels, coats and leads have been washed and are now drying.

Just confirming I haven't been washed away. 😉😂 Luckily this was about as bad as it got for me, all surrounding roads and paths were almost clear. Even the mud wasn't too bad.

Please join me in wishing my wonderful mum a very happy birthday. You will see more of her face than mine on this page but here are a few of my favourites although I know I am missing some. This job can be a lonely one when you're on your own so I feel very lucky to have my mum for company especially on those cold, wet and miserable days where we often need each others motivation to get going and keep going. You also have to have a sense of humour in this line of work and I can safely say we have plenty of laughs - too many stories to tell and some you just had to be there. 😂 Life is never dull and I think we make a pretty good team.

It was too wet for photos really but I think I managed get a quick one of everyone (sorry if I've missed anyone). I'm still drying out!
