After a successful dognapping last weekend and I got to spend some extra quality time with Barry! 😝 Baz is one of my original patients and was actually one of my case study dogs back when I was still training in canine massage! As you can see she had a pretty good time! I am unhealthily attached to Baz at this point, we have been through a lot, and I am so grateful for the continued support and friendship of her family 🥰 I invest heart and soul into the dogs I treat, this is not just a job to me and I wouldn't have it any other way 🐾
PS I gave her back, honest!

Summer is well and truly here! 😎
Gorgeous Henry has been having some treatment with me recently for a spinal issue, he's a sweet little chap and enjoys his treatment alongside lots of ear rubs and snacks! Henry has been making good progress with laser, massage and some targeted exercises to help improve flexibility and prevent injury 💛

Some dogs are easy to treat, some dogs take a while to build trust....and then there's Sienna! 👑
Sienna's mum (who has been amazing!) and I have had to work really hard to get her comfortable with treatment, always going at her pace. It's really important to me that I build a foundation of trust and respect with the dogs I work with, this allows me to treat more effectively and without using restraint or force. Sienna has been through a lot, knows her mind and is very clear in her communication, she's a total diva and I've had to endure many dirty looks but that only makes me love her more!
Sienna has been having treatment with me to help with IVDD management and has made really good progress in her gait and comfort level 🥰

As most if you will know I am a sucker for a squishy face so I love getting to treat this little potato! Tiger has been having regular treatment with me to address some weakness and ataxia (in-coordination) of his back legs. We have managed to address some low back pain and he has made good progress with a combination of laser therapy, massage and exercises.
It's all rather exhausting and Tiger would rather have a nap though! 😴

I got to see this lovely boy recently for some laser to help with a ligament injury.
Ligament damage can be slow to heal as the tissue is less vascular compared to bone or muscle- so laser can be really helpful to boost healing as well as providing pain relief. We also did some massage to ease of some secondary muscular tension in his shoulders and back.
I've known Killi since he was a pup and he was a total star for his treatment ⭐️ Bonus points for looking cool in the doggles of course! 😎

Photos from the weekend at Goodwoof dog festival! Our massage talks and demo's were the most popular event at the show and we got to meet and educate hundreds of dogs and owners on the benefits of canine massage 🥰

Such a treat to meet gorgeous Toby last week, as you can see he was a total pro for his first treatment and even had a little snooze! Toby suffered from a suspected IVDD (intervertebral disc disease) episode last week and also has some arthritis in his elbows so we are using laser therapy, massage and exercise rehab to help with his recovery 🥰

Had to share this pic of beautiful Tibi just being her elegant self!
Tibi has regular laser therapy and massage to help manage her recovery from FCE (fibrocartilagenous embolism) and to relieve the secondary muscular issues which have developed over time. FCE is often referred to as a 'spinal stroke' and occurs when a piece of the fibrous material that makes up the intervertebral disc breaks off. This causes blockage of the blood supply to part of the spinal cord- resulting in loss or impairment of nerve function.
