We love dogs and have been owned by 4 rescue dogs , 1 Shetland sheepdog , a Deerhound x lurcher ,a Rough collie and a Spanish Galgo( hunting dog) . We are experienced in a wide range of dogs big and small from Great Danes to Micro Pomeranians. We feel we can offer home from home love care and attention to your dogs for a very reasonable price with a discoun

Please note I didn't know Mr Waggywoofer was filming me. How lovely to get this treatment when you walk in the house . I love the dogs I look after and they really are treated as if my own .......hopefully you wouldn't even know which is mine because they are all loved .

Just to let you all know , 😃 I'm fully Licensed for another 3 years and managed my 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 status again after a rather long inspection 😆 🐾 ❤

Our Story of how Waggy Woofers began

We are Mandy and Alf and live in Great Ashby Stevenage Herts, We love dogs and have be owned by 3 rescue dogs Gemma a rough collie, Barney a large Deerhound x and Honey a Sheltie. All rehomed to us but in the last 13 years . We lost Honey our rescue Sheltie in October 2017 and adopted our older Galgo Pendy from a rescue Mandy helps with in Spain. Our backgrounds are:

Mandy has worked in the care profession as a manager and also a NVQ assessor within predominately young people with learning disabilities and severe complex physical disabilities for the last 32years . Alf trained and worked in a corporate IT settings as a Microsoft systems engineer for many years but now works fulltime leading a church. We have been married living in Great Ashby since 2002 with no children.

When we lost Barney we wanted to set up something in memory of him as we lost him within a day of cancer being diagnosed. Which was utterly heartbreaking. Waggy Woofers was created with him as our logo as he was to teach us so much about dogs through the 9 years we loved him . We are passionate about all dogs and we are experienced in a wide range of dogs particularly large sighthounds(we had Barney our deerhound x rescue for many years)

We are also able to board Special needs dogs such as diabetic dogs or epileptic dogs . We feel we can offer home from home love care and attention to your dogs for a very reasonable price with a discount for multiple dog families . Your pets live with us as if our own dogs . We hope you can see we love them like our own dogs too.
