🐾 APPEAL 🐾

** UPDATE - Owner has now been identified and dog is being returned. Thank you to everyone who commented / shared. **

Officers from Stevenage Police Intervention/Response Team 3 🚔 are urgently trying to identify the owner of this dog.

The dog, which appears to be a brown male juvenile bully breed, was located by police off-lead in the vicinity of Mildmay Road circa 1830hrs this evening and is currently with officers.

We are appealing for information so we can return the dog to its owner and avoid it being sent to kennels.

If you believe this is your dog or know who it belongs to, please contact Herts Police via 101 and quote reference 545 02/11/2024.

Just to update again.... We're still going ahead and people are starting to arrive so thank you for still turning up in the uncertain weather!

At present the event is still going ahead based on the forecast however we are at the mercy of the weather and it may be a case that we will need to finish earlier

The thunder has passed and the rain is stopping. We are going ahead. Rain is forecast again for later so we're probably going to aim to finish a little 2:30-3, we're going to play it by ear. We're also going to have reduced agility equipment due to the wet grass.

Last weekend we had a fun little dog show in The Plume of Feathers and had a great time and raised funds for a great cause.

As ever we would like to thank Mark and Chloe for inviting us to cause chaos in their beer garden. We would also like to thank Harry, Sharon, Sharon's Dad, Janine and Ian for helping on the day, and the person with the hardest job of all Ken our judge!

Now we've recovered a little I'd like to thank everyone that attended our Doggie Day a little over a week ago. Despite the change of venue creating a few unexpected issues it was a great success and we've raised over £1000 to our charity this year, RVC Blood Donors.

I'd also like to thank all the stall holders, organisations and businesses that make our event possible such as Hearts Services Herts Limited, Pukka Tukka, Franks Ices, Hooks Cross Equestrian, Wrayfield Agility, to name a few, plus the cheerleaders for opening the show in such great fashion.

Sadly our usual photographer was unavailable to take pictures this year we did manage to get a few. Hopefully we can do our full compliment of pictures at the next event.
