ADN Urge Visitors: Leave Pets at Home

As excitement builds for the upcoming air show, we are advising attendees to leave their pets at home, citing concerns over safety and comfort.

With aircraft engines roaring overhead and temperatures expected to rise, the environment may be too loud and too warm for animals.

“Air shows can be an exhilarating experience for humans, but they are not ideal for pets,” “The noise from the aircraft can be overwhelming, and the heat on the day could pose serious risks to their well-being.”

ADN is asking all attendees to consider their pets' health and safety by arranging alternative care while they enjoy the show. The event promises a thrilling display of aerial feats and performances, but it is clear that, for pets, staying at home is the best option.

Crazy fun busy day in the sunshine at Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue - ADDR Doggy Sunday Funday.

Saw lots of human and dog friends old and new.

£41 raised for ADDR through our lucky dip.

Beautiful Nala won the special prize and bagged herself a fancy puzzle toy.

Lovely stall neighbours Zoomies Doggy Delights, Dashing Dog Designs, Lewis' Bracelets, Ayrshire Canine Clinical Massage and Waterwoof.

Oh and we won a prize on the raffle 😁

Thanks to my glamorous assistant Jordan Hume and Brian Stirling for the loan of the gazebo.

6.30pm - Strike a Pose - teaching you and your dog some cool new tricks that will take them from camera shy to aspiring Instagram star!

Ace and I have been sharpening up our skills ahead of the Strike a Pose Workshop at 28th Ayrshire (Troon) Scout Group.

Thinking of our Maxi and Pepsi on Pet Rememberence Day. Went for one puppy, came home with two, an absolute bargain for £15 each.
The most loyal dogs (well Maxi was anyway 😆) and the start of an obsession with Border Collies that's still going strong today. 💜

🐾🐾Happy Take Your Dog to Work Day🐾🐾

Forever thankful that my day job often involves working from home. My two office assistants are very helpful in keeping me company and reminding me when it's time to get away from my desk for a walk!
My job also allows Ace to accompany me on work trips all over the country. He loves travelling, is the perfect hotel companion, and regularly supports other dog trainers to develop their skills. Clever boy! 🤓

🍄Meet Mario!🍄

Mario is just a young pup and recently made the long journey from Romania to his new home in Scotland!

Today we worked on checking in with his humans on walks, reducing jumping up and setting the foundations for recall and walking nicely on lead.

A super sweet little guy - can't wait to see you grow and progress Mario 🥰

We thought you might like to know a little more about us and as always....the dogs come first!

Flynn and Ace both came to me through my work in dog and animal rescue. They are very different and have both taught me so much.

Flynn is a sensitive fellow - easily worried, takes time to trust but once you're in his circle it is so, so worth it.

Ace is happy go lucky - loves training and being with people and is the perfect work companion on long drives and hotel stays.
