Hi. I’ve been painting animal portraits for many years. Nowadays I prefer to work in acrylic paint on canvas but in the past I’ve used pastels.

A portrait commission starts at £350. They take a long time to do and are fairly detailed. I need good quality photos and I’m happy to take pics if you’re reasonably local. I always prefer to meet the sitter if possible. I have a genuine love for animals and love to capture their personality.

Susan Banks is a talented mural and paint effects painter. Based in West Sussex but happy to travel anywhere, Sue has enormous experience and her projects have ranged from small trompe l'oeil (fooling the eye) murals to large scale commercial projects.
