Hey hope everyone is well. I saw this the other day and it resonated so deeply with me so I felt obliged to share...

I swore blind when I became an adult I would never have a dog of mine own despite being brought up with dogs and having grandparents that bred them. I saw the absolute wrecks my family members were when they lost dogs. Why would anyone put themselves through it?

I never wanted a dog because I just couldn't understand why the hell anybody would willingly allow something/ someone to come into their lives knowing that they would likely die before them and literally break their heart!

I now fully understand why people do it and despite the devastating heartbreak I've encountered I will keep doing it over and over again. The joy and love I've been fortunate enough to receive from my dogs past and present is priceless. It has literally changed my life for the better. I'm a different and better person for each and every dog I've ever known.

When it comes to dogs it really is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all... xx

UPDATED Pickle has still had no sightings and it's been 3 days now. The days are getting shorter and after 3 days this is beyond critical... tomorrow a drone is going out to look. Please please please share the hell out of this again. Anybody who can help in the hunt message Emma as below. Let's try and find this poor dog. Emma is going out of her mind with worry now. It's a numbers game - the longer she is out there the less chance we have of finding her!!!!

guys please can you be vigilant and share this post. 1 of our farm dogs has gone missing 😢 She bolted after a deer 2 days ago and hasn't been seen since. She was by the Campsite at New Wharf Farm when she was last seen. Her name is Pickle and she is a 1 1/2 year old French Bulldog.

Currently there is a search and rescue team out looking for her. However if anyone has seen anything at all please contact Emma as per below.

Obviously having been missing for this length of time it's critical she is found... 🙏 Please be your awesome selves and share this xx

I lost her Around the New wharf farm area in Ashurst.
She was last seen wearing a Harry Potter Slytherin harness.
She is a Frenchie but half the normal size.

Hey I hope everyone is well. I just want to politely remind everyone that we operate a 24 hour reschuduling policy.

That means it's on you to check weather forecasts and decide if you don't want to walk in the rain! We unlike many facilities do offer an indoor barn as well. However the bookings aren't interchangeable as they command different costs. So if you review the weather and think absolutely not. Book the barn separately and then reschedule your field booking to another day.

We are now entering autumn and winter. It is going to rain sometimes. It is also going to get muddy in the field. Our offering is enclosed spaces. We don't control the weather! Choose wisely. Be your own keeper and most of all enjoy every moment with your dogs xx

Hope everyone is well. Today is national black dog's day.

Here is the last picture I took of my baby boy Woody (nicknamed Woody Puddy). You'll see Misty my blue girl in the background as well!

I struggle to believe that black dogs are the hardest to rehome in adoption/ rescue centres 😪 I can't imagine walking past my absolute hunk of a boy Woody. People who ignore the black dogs are seriously missing out!

We have so many stunning black dogs that we treat at the hydro and so many visitors at the field and barn. Feel free to post pics of them here! Xx

I stole this from a friend... my greyhounds have been the cornerstone and inspiration of HHH and Houndie House.

I know you all love your own dogs and breeds but having been blessed with 3 greyhounds so far. I can honestly say they really are such amazing dogs 🥰🥰🤗🤗 xx

It's been a crazy time here... 4 weeks ago today my Misty suffered a spinal stroke and became completely paralysed in her left hindlimb. She has regained movement incredibly well but still has a way to go on her path to total recovery. The video is of her being discharged from Anderson Moores on 11th October. She can now walk completely unaided 🥰🥰 To this end I've decided to postpone the fundraising event in Grayson's memory until next year. I apologise for any inconvenience but I need to ensure Misty is getting everything she needs... xx

I never knew that by becoming a canine physical rehabilitation therapist I'd also suddenly become a dog trainer and behaviourist 🙈🙈🙉🙉🤣🤣 Great session today with the most exuberant labrador. Was a bloody challenge getting him calm and showing him what his job was. His owner sent me this of him post our session 🥰🥰😍😍 He's exhausted. I'm exhausted 🤣🤣 xx

Greyhounds do tracking!!

So yesterday me and the hounds tried out tracking with Ravendale Training and Behaviour. This is the video with the audio... 🤭🤭 We had a fabulous time and I can't recommend Angela highly enough. She holds lots of classes at Houndie House. Check her out and enrol as you won't regret it 😍😍 Misty has not lost her competitive edge from her racing days 😏😏🤭🤭🤣🤣 She went over and ate half of Woody's trail and took a sh*t on it 🙈🙈🙉🙉🤣🤣 Apparently she is a shameless cheat!! She also managed to open the tupperware box at the end and help herself to half a pot of cheese 🤣🤣 xx

Going bonkers in the Barn

Good evening wonderful people hope you're all well. Sharing a personal moment with you... Misty has only played with balls to annoy Grayson for 4 years 🙈🙈😂😂. Now she likes them - well actually loves them! If you've not considered hiring our barn it's a fantastic space to play games with your dogs or practice recall in the early days to name just a couple of reasons. Please note I'm a hydrotherapist my dogs don't play ball every day nor would I advocate it. They also get warmed up before doing it and warmed down. Everything in moderation but they LOVE this game. Please no comments on the fact my Greyhounds ball skills are so much better than mine 🤭🤭🤗🤗 xx
