Hey hope everyone is well. Polite reminder to all hirer's not to behave like total tools 🙄🙄

I worked incredibly hard to create a safe space for everyone. 1 bad apple spoils the bunch!

I'm insanely grateful to the wonderful community we have. Don't let me down by not leaving on time, not picking up or not respecting the rules of giving each other space.

I understand on occasion for 1 reason or another we all might make a mistake and not realise the time. Please take ownership and apologise if you can't recall your dogs and are late leaving. Communicate with the next hirer and show respect to each other.

Manners cost nothing! Repeat offenders will be spoken to and won't be tolerated.

3 years ago today myself and Misty lost the love of our lives Grayson. He had literally just turned 7. He fought an horrific battle over the last few months of his life spending weeks in intensive care at referral specialists Anderson Moores who did a life preserving blood transfusion. They never were able to fully diagnose what was wrong other than he had severe autoimmune issues and his body was literally attacking itself creating ulcers and internal bleeding.

We were eternally grateful to get him home. Sadly in his final hours he had to be rushed to the emergency vets where he finally lost his fight and went to sleep in my arms for the last ever time.

Misty and I sat beside him in the early hours of the morning comforting him through his final battle until he had to be let go. The emergency vet sat with us and also wept...

Picture 1 was taken exactly a week before he died. He was emaciated having lost 10kg in weight over a couple of months. The second was taken exactly 4 days before he died and was the last ever picture taken of him. I remember saying to Meg who took the photo we will do it again when the light is better. It's getting too dark now and the light is fading... It's ironic because that was exactly what was happening inside Grayson. It was getting too dark and his light was fading 😔

I find it so hard to listen to owners moan and whine about the characteristics of the dogs who have been lucky enough to reach 14, 15 or 16 or even older!

I would literally give anything to have Grayson back and eating all objects off limits. When your geriatric dog is sniffing they aren't doing it to annoy you. When your geriatric dog s**ts in your house they aren't doing it to annoy you. When your geriatric dog pi**es in your house they aren't doing it to annoy you!

Please for those of you blessed enough to have elderly and senior dogs don't get mad. Be grateful 🙏 I would give anything to have Grayson endlessly sniff grass, s**t or p**s in my house or eat a remote control for the TV.

They are never ever with us long enough... xx

It wasn't quite worded that way by my ex but the sentiment was the same...

I chose my dogs and founded my 2 businesses because of them 😏😏 What you enjoy today is because my ex told me I wasn't ever allowed into his home with my dogs (the dogs we went and chose together).

Fate takes care of business literally 🤗🤗😍😍 xx

Hey hope everyone is well. I saw this the other day and it resonated so deeply with me so I felt obliged to share...

I swore blind when I became an adult I would never have a dog of mine own despite being brought up with dogs and having grandparents that bred them. I saw the absolute wrecks my family members were when they lost dogs. Why would anyone put themselves through it?

I never wanted a dog because I just couldn't understand why the hell anybody would willingly allow something/ someone to come into their lives knowing that they would likely die before them and literally break their heart!

I now fully understand why people do it and despite the devastating heartbreak I've encountered I will keep doing it over and over again. The joy and love I've been fortunate enough to receive from my dogs past and present is priceless. It has literally changed my life for the better. I'm a different and better person for each and every dog I've ever known.

When it comes to dogs it really is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all... xx
