🥹🥹🥹 The time has come to sell my horsebox. I'm really sad to let it go, but I can't justify owning a horsebox and not a horse.
I've had some amazing competitions and trips with this box. It's never let me down and I'll be extremely sad to see it go. 😞
I know it's a bit controversial, but we turn out our horses every day!
If the weather's awful, we can bring them in a bit earlier.
In winter, they are fed and hayed before to make sure they have warm, full tummies.
Respect to Elton! What would your horse do in this situation?

Pickle is the last puppy still with us. We have him for a couple more weeks before he moves the Isle of Man with his new family.
It'll be tough to let him go. He's so amazing
😍 Flyer is a special horse.
I wonder if I'll ever convince myself to jump this on him?

Seriously, Flyer! at least make it look like you're trying.

I can’t tell you how excited I am to introduce you to Frank,
First things first, he’s NOT for sale! I’m hoping to keep him and get back out competing and having some fun.
He’s a well bred Irish Sports Horse, O.B.O.S quality x Grange Bouncer. At 16.1hh, he’s the perfect size for me and At 4yrs old, he’s the perfect age to crack on but put my own stamp on.
Have you watched the video? I’m not sure what I love the most about him? His willingness to a fence, his effortlessness jump, his beautiful smile as he passes the camera or his movement whilst in trot?
What do you like best?
We’ve been working with Eliza Atkinson and her feisty mare Missy for a few weeks.
When she first arrived, her canter was nothing short of dangerous. She’d panic, run, leap and buck.
Realising she was running through the contact, we changed her to into hackamore and just kept quietly showing her that everything is easier when she just calms down.
This was her yesterday, jumping better than ever before.
🤩🤩 Champ really is a Champion 🤩🤩
We were absolutely thrilled with Champ today. He’s not jumped a course in months yet today he popped around this course like he’s not missed a day. We kept it small while we build up his strength but he was in his element, loving every second.
We definitely haven’t seen the best from this special horse yet. We can’t wait to find him an amazing home where he can reach his potential and go out and win some classes 🏆🏆🏆
Check him out practicing his speedy jump off technique 💨
Check out Champ 😍
He’s in on sales livery and we hope to find him
a rider who’s as fun and keen as he is.
He knows his job and is loving everything we’re doing with him but has been out of work for a while due to uni commitments and covid.
He’s 15.3hh and 15 years old but you’d think he was 5 as he is full of life, energy and excitement (including the odd buck if he’s really having fun 🤩) He’s well trained but does need a confident rider who’ll enjoy his playfulness
He schools well, loves jumping, hacks alone and in company. Would make a lovely eventer or showjumper as this is where he’s happiest.
What happens when you decide to have lesson in a wind weather warning ⚠️ on a horse who’s only lightly backed?
It all goes extremely well 😊
Flyer has a wonderful attitude and likes make use of his speed. Today we worked on relaxation, slowing everything down and loosening all his top line.
Thank you @sharonpeschke for the lesson and @yorkshireroseequestrian for videoing
Look at this progress 😍😍😍
When Danny arrived with us a few weeks ago, he’d not done much jumping and was lacking confidence and experience.
Look at him go today! He confidently powers around this 1m mini course with scope for so much more.
We are loving working this this special boy and can’t wait to find a new home where he can excel
Big thanks to Eliza for riding him today
#EmlagharanCeolaire
I know it’s only Tuesday but I’ve already had the win of my week!
This is my first ride on Flyer and his first time ridden this year after been lightly backed last year. I think he’s going to be quite special 😍
Thank you to @yorkshireroseequestrian for her help x
Is there anything this pony isn’t good at?
Considering Danny (Emlagharan Ceolaire) hasn’t done much jumping, he’s really making progress.
He seems to really enjoy it.
This was his first small course he’s done for ages, and although he’s steady away he showing real talent and plenty of scope.
We’ll continue to build up his confidence and experience while he’s with us. Too be very honest, I’m extremely shocked (I quite pleased- we love him) that he’s not been snapped up.
Did you know we have a new horse?
Meet Loumic High Flyer
He’s a five year old Sport Horse, bred locally by Sue Raper. He’s mums breeding includes Classic and Nijinsky and he’s by Sir Shutterfly.
He’s a little on the large side, standing at 17.2hh we’re hoping he’ll not grow anymore as I’m only 5ft3!
He was broken in last year and then turned away. We have just started him again so watch this space for his progress. #loumichighflyer
We are hopeful that he’ll be a keeper and isn’t offered for sale
Who’s got that Friday feeling???
We do 🙌
Do you?
Do you think Emlagharan Ceolaire should stick to showing or turn his hood to jumping, even better a combination of two and become a superstar Working Hunter Pony?
I’ve treated myself to a BungeeBand Saddle Pad and I love it 🥰.
Cohen is perfectly happy to work hard when jumping is involved but he can be rather idle on the flat and I often struggle to gets him to work through from behind. With his Bungee Band on, I didn’t have to work hard to keep him engaged. I was really impressed with the quality of it and know how much work they’ve put into creating the correct amount of resistance for horses. Don’t be fooled by cheaply made copies!
Over all, I’m really happy with my purchase and look forward to use it a lot more.
What do you think to our schooling or should we stick to showjumping ? 😂
It’s Throwback Thursday
I found this on my camera roll and had to share.
This is Miss Fish turbocharged!
Sadly she’s no longer with us but I still have these wonderful memories of her.
