Good evening all, happy Sunday!

I've been super busy with events with my art- the next one coming up being the most exciting of the year! Open Studios Stirlingshire will be kicking off on Saturday the 15th and continue on till Sunday the 23rd, I'll be part of a studio collective with 3 other wonderful artists situated just outside of Doune. It would be amazing if any of my ex-muzzler clients in the area were free to pop by for a wee visit during the week! 😁 all the details on artists and locations can be found through the Open Studios Stirlingshire website!

Today I had a wonderful day at Fodder + Farm Farmer's Market where Maggie joined me and was a very popular, very well behaved wee soul! I treated her to a Pup Cup, doggy friendly ice cream. The tub was a little too much for just her so we took it home to share with the rest of HQ doggos.

With another Drawing Workshop on the horizon (Sunday the 28th April) I wanted to share with you all some of the absolutely LOVELY comments some of my 'students' have written in regards to the previous workshops they attended. Lovely surprise today 🥰🐾🫶

Guess who I bumped into on my way back from an artist meeting today? Adventures with Jessibobs with some of my old muzzlers!
It was so so lovely to see them again and I got such a warm welcome; lots of jumping, barking, kisses and tail wags. Benji and Maggie were delighted to see their pals again too - what a lovely walk to break up the day! 🥰🐾🫶

I finally got to finish my wee Maggie-moo portrait today! Considering this is the first 'official' portrait I have completed in pastels that wasn't intended as a sketch in...gosh I believe it must be since 2015/6, I'm rather happy with how she turned out!

She will be used as my wee sample portrait at future events for people to see, I hope you all like her 😊🐾

**APPEAL!**

Please - if I'd love it if you could help me gather some doggy photos of dogs doing doggo things for my February challenge; A Dog A Day 🐾😁🐕

**BIG REQUEST PEEPS!!**

So, I know it's still early doors and we're not there QUITE yet, but I am making some creative plans for February and I would LOVE it if you could all help and get involved! 😁

I plan to challenge myself to create 'A Dog A Day' in February, whether that is a detailed close-up of a gorgeous doggo or a scribbly doodle of a dog in motion, the goal is to create something new on a daily basis and making it canine related - just having a bit of fun! 🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺

Where I need your help, is to send me fabulous photographs of your gorgeous puppy pals that you're happy for me to use as reference material for my artwork! ✏️🐾🖌

Midge and Mac, together again 💕🌈

Happy Thursday! 😊

So today I collected the framed portrait of Mac and went to deliver him to his mammy. Sadly, when I arrived, she gave me the news that dear Midge passed away last week 💔😢
We sat and had a cuppa and a catch up, reminiscing over the boys and their funny antics. They are now together again; over the Rainbow Bridge and also in art form. She was delighted with them, which genuinely is the main reason I love doing this.

You can see here funnily enough, the photo references I used happened to be the photos I gifted their mammy back in the days when I used to walk them! So it worked out very serendipitous 🥰

I led my first ever Drawing Workshop last week at the absolutely beautiful Karma Lake of Menteith hotel - it was a wonderful success and I cannot wait to do another one! 🥰

My amazing students drew a gorgeous wee fox, and the results were all so different and fabulous; I love to see everyone's unique style blossom, especially when I'm told they can't draw worth peanuts!

I wanted to share with you all the finished Mac, a handsome, sweet giant I used to walk. I visited his mammy a few weeks ago and sadly found out he had passed over the rainbow bridge 🌈💔

His brother Midge is still with us and his mammy purchased the framed original of Midge that I had drawn for my Gundog series, wishing that I draw Mac also so they can go on the wall together. This was a special one for me as I knew Mac very well, he was such a funny boy, with many quirks! He is sadly missed, though it was very heartwarming to hear his portrait brought tears to his mammy's eyes, in a positive way 💕

I hope you all like him, I'll be uploading a reel on the entire drawing process from start to finish later, so keep your eyes peeled for that 😁
