🔴 CHANGING OVER TO LEPTO 4 DOG VACCINE 🔴

As you may be aware, Leptospirosis 2 dog vaccines are being discontinued by the manufacturers. We have tried to keep a stock of L2 for our clients for as long as we can, but we now have to make the switch to Leptospirosis 4.
L4 gives cover against four strains of leptospirosis instead of two which is particularly beneficial for those dogs that travel out with the UK.

▶️ WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU? ◀️

Any dogs currently vaccinated with L2 will have to switch over to L4 this year. This means two vaccines must be given EXACTLY four weeks apart. There is no wriggle room on this so please bear in mind when booking in.

🙂 GOOD NEWS 🙂

We will not be charging our clients any extra for this, just our normal booster price will apply. We will pick up the tab!
Going forward only one vaccine will be required per year, as before.

UPDATE - Road is now open again.

Unfortunately there has been an accident near the practice. The police have closed the road and will not allow anyone through. Access will only be by foot, we’re afraid.

Roadworks have started today and will be ongoing for a week with traffic lights right outside the practice. There are significant delays today so please leave plenty time to get here for your appointment this week. Clients have been experiencing 20min waits in queues. Thank you.

Please could folk share this post in the hopes of reuniting the wee cat we’ve had with us for a week. She was found on the road near Recycabike after being hit by a car. She is a friendly wee white and tabby girl going off to a foster home today. Someone must be missing her! 🥰

Millie has been missing since late on Friday night from her home in Causewayhead Road. This is very unlike her. She is a timid, 11-year-old female who is curious and likes to talk. She is a smooth black coat with little white toes and a white chest. She is new to the area and has been happily living here for 2 months. She is microchipped, however doesn’t wear a collar. She may have accidentally entered your garage, shed or even home on the Saturday at some point. Please can you check for her and if you see her at all contact 07876527141 or 07876527142.

*******MISSING CAT********
His name is Bean, he doesn't really respond to his name. He is black and white.
He was last seen on Friday in the woods and park adjacent to Sunnylaw Road in bridge of allan.
He likes hanging around the Sunnylaw and Blairforkie Drive area.

To help identify him he also wears a blue collar with a chunky tracker attached (which has now died unfortunately).
