So what is prey drive behaviour In dogs 🐶.
Here I’m having a little chat about a behaviour I call Eye Stalk Motor Pattern
Where dogs run after things that move fast,

Joggers 🏃
Leaf 🍁
Scooters 🛴
Mice 🐁
Sheep 🐑
Etc
Dogs absolutely just love the fast little movements and get rewarded from the chase and pounce or nip
For this type of behaviour we recommend some fantastic impulse control games
And focus games
There is lots and lots a trainer can do to support you and your dogs for any of these behaviours 🐾

Police Scotland lifted the dogs and Keels has taken them in and is fostering them until
She can find a home 🏡 where they can both live together
There is a sad back story to the dogs being abandoned and we do not wish this post to go done that path please
At this time we’re looking forward to supporting the fostering lady and if needed we will help with finding a forever 🏡

For info daisy is not allowed to chase deer but when she has accidentally come across one in an area not known for many deer then unfortunately a chase happened, hense I had to change her behaviour and now in Scotland 🏴 she just does not get off lead unless it’s a secure area or boring park, field etc.
with genetics you often have to manage the situation which is what I do.
But I do allow her to have some safe fun tracking them on a lead where she gently guides me on there paths in the woods, this allowing her to meet her genetic needs.
