Feast in style and try making something different this year ๐ Savoury pancakes with battered Oyster Mushrooms ๐คคโฃ

150g plain flour โฃ
125ml boiling waterโฃ
rapeseed oil, for brushingโฃ
โฃ

๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:โฃ
* Mix the flour, water + a pinch of salt in a bowl until it forms a dough โฃ
* When cool enough to handle, knead for 5-10 mins
* Divide into 10 little balls and roll each one out as thin as you can
* Brush a frying pan with the oil + cook each pancake over a medium heat for 20 seconds each side or until cooked but not brownedโฃ.

50g plain flourโฃ
50g cornflourโฃ
1/2 tsp five spiceโฃ
150ml tonic waterโฃ
150g Oyster Mushrooms sliced thinlyโฃ
Julienne vegetables (we used cucumber, spring onion + carrots)โฃ
Hoisin sauceโฃ

* Heat approx. 1 litre of oil in a pan or Preheat a deep fat fryer to 180Cโฃ
* Mix the batter ingredients in a large bowlโฃ
* Place the sliced mushrooms in to a mix of plain flour with a little salt + pepperโฃ
* Once covered, drop the slices into the batter mix, coat well and lower slowly into the hot oil, โฃ
* Cook for a few minutes or until golden brownโฃ
* Serve with pancakes, vegetables, hoisin + for a Vegan Crispy Pancake Feast!โฃ
