I’d encourage every couple to bring their pets to the wedding if they can, as they bring so much to your big day.
Just be sure to make sure there’s a dog-sitter, or a dog-loving guest willing to look after them for the rest of the day, so you can relax if you can.

Due to overwhelming popularity, our original TALKIN' TABLES Tuesday group relocated to The Dog and Partridge across the road. However, TALKIN' TABLES has requested the establishment of a new group on Mondays (excluding Bank holidays), commencing next week at 11 am. We extend a warm welcome to all new and returning participants.

Pippa ❤️❤️❤️🤞

We had hoped to home Lola and Pippa together. However we realised that two dogs can be alot to take on. Therefore when a suitable home came up for Lola we decided to separate these two. Neither seems at all bothered to be away from the other one. Now we just have Pippa who is nine years old. Pippa has had alot of dental work done and is waiting to be spayed.

What a beautiful boy 💙 I hope he finds his forever home 🙏

Today marks 18 long months since Coby came to us as a stray, he was then just an 18 month old young boy.

Now at 3 years old he is still waiting for his forever home, his adoption fell through back in January and still we have yet to find that special person who can meet his needs.

He really is a loving boy but can be a bit boisterous! His demeanour is one that is full of love and he just wants some TLC in his life.

If you have experience of this kind of breed and have a place in your heart for this gentle giant please apply to meet him.

🌟APRIL IS ADOPT A GREYHOUND MONTH🌟

This month we're hoping to dispel a few myths about greyhounds.

Many people believe greyhounds are too big for a small house.
Greyhounds do range in size with females generally being smaller. Some females are no larger than a large whippet weighing about 25 kg - but on the other hand we know large males can weigh 37 kg!

With larger dogs you certainly know where they are though, they certainly don't get under your feet, and once adopted you soon adjust to their size. Just take a look at adopted Makants hound FLASH here, he certainly can make himself smaller if the bed calls for it!
