100% recall is an essential skill that every dog should have but let’s just take a minute to recognise that it takes immense impulse control on your dog’s part…..so ALWAYS give them that praise/treat/toy for returning to you 🐺❤️🐺

The take-away from this beautiful quote is that recall should be rewarded whether your dog has done it once or several thousand times. Your dog's life might depend on coming back to you when you call, so make sure your dog is always happy to come to you. Pay it with praise and high value treats today and forever.

Everyone meet Luna 😍 This gorgeous girl is so bouncy and high energy….she was a little too bouncy! After an 8 week puppy training course, Luna is a much better behaved girl in the house 😇❤️ She has worked on her recall and coming away from distractions, so now her humans can give her a good run every day to burn off that crazy energy in a productive way!
Great job little lady 🙌 and well done to Luna’s humans Chloe & Kieron for their persistence and dedication to Luna’s learning ❤️🐶❤️

100% agree 👍🏻 Our modern, domesticated dogs are smart enough to know that we’re not dogs! 🙈 Alpha theory has been debunked! Dogs need to know where they stand in their social construct (your house and family both furry and human) but eating before them, not allowing them to access doors before you, not allowing them on your bed/sofa etc. has nothing to do with how they see their world ❤️🐺❤️

This is Millie 😍 Millie was a nervous girl who had exhibited reactive behaviours towards other dogs and had very little focus or listening skills in the house. A typical terrier, Millie would jump up at the window and bark at people and dogs walking past the house 🙈
After a 3 month behaviour modification programme, Millie is a different girl! 🥰
She is now calm in the house, listens to her owners and has built up a repertoire of skills to build her confidence.
Awesome job Millie ❤️🐺❤️

Meet Chewie 😍 This gorgeous boy has completed a 4 week puppy training programme with Baxter’s and has done amazingly well 🙌
Chewie has learnt all of the basic commands that he will need for a strong foundation as he heads into adolescence 😬

This lovely boy is called Hugo 😍 Hugo has just completed a six week course where we focussed on obedience, focus and listening skills 😁 Hugo is 9 months old now and is well on his way to becoming a well mannered adult dog 🙌 all of his crazy energy considered, Hugo did a great job!

This is Milo 😍 Milo is a 6 month old Cockerpoo, he has just completed a 4 week puppy course where we built on focus, control and obedience skills. He has done amazing and has learnt to walk to heel with excellent attention on his owners.

Meet Freddy 😍 This little guy has just completed his 4 week Puppy Training programme and has done so brilliantly! Freddy is super clever, he a puppy so still giddy but got the hang of his basic commands really quickly. He now has a strong foundation going into adolescence 🙌
