Bea and Bertie, Ebony and Cinders left for their new homes yesterday. We have been very fortunate to be able to rehome them in two pairs as Bea and Bertie were very bonded and Ebony and Cinders were our lovely mum and baby. Good luck to them all in their new homes 🖤❤️🖤

TODAYS THE DAY!!!!!

Ralphie has finally opened his eyes, well one of them and the other partly 😂 He's finally seeing the world around him, including his mum and 3 brothers 💜🩵💙

As of yesterday Ralphie is now up to 150g in weight. He is still so tiny but so so sweet. We are popping him back on his mum to feed if we find he has been pushed out by his brothers. Ralphie is getting stronger though and is fighting back.....go Ralphie!!

The 'TWO RONNIES' 👓👓

Two of our cutest and softest boys are still looking for a new home each.....

Big Ronnie is just a total love bug and will lap up hugs and cuddles all day long, rolling over, exposing his belly and constantly pushing his head into your hand. If you want a loving companion you can't go wrong with big Ronnie 💙🩵💜

Then there's little Ronnie who is the last kitten left from a litter of 5. We can't believe he's the last one of the litter to be rehomed. Many of our volunteers and staff have totally fallen in love with this cuddle pot and he's just the right combination of cuddles, cuteness and mischief. Ronnie laps up attention and will lay in your arms and cuddle as long as you're willing 💜🩵💙

Anyone fancy a good old fashioned Jumble Sale? We are holding our next event on Sunday 1st September 2024 from 2pm until 4pm. Lots of bargains to be had, these will include Ladies, Mens & Children's clothing plus an assortment of bags and shoes.

We will of course be selling refreshments throughout. Lots of lovely cakes etc and drinks for all to enjoy.

Hope you can all make it down to the Church Hall it would be lovely to see you.

We would like you all to meet Ralphie....he was born at Heatons Cats a week ago and he was the tiniest of a litter of 4 weighing in at 96g. His three brothers have already grown so much bigger than him and Ralphie has to fight for a place at the milk bar, he struggles to latch onto his mum and we have to intervene sometime to get him in the right place.....he's adorable.

You'll be seeing lots more of our little Ralphie he is just so cute and we think he looks like a little otter 😍😍

As with most rescues at this time of year we are bursting to the seems with unwanted animals and we are receiving a huge amount of calls every day to take in more. Please remember, if we can help you we will, but we are experiencing a situation of pets being dumped more than ever before. YOU are responsible for your pets wellbeing from the day you give it a home. We love animals and are doing our utmost to help but we find it very distressing and frustrating to learn of pets being dumped or 'set free' to fend for themselves.
Please share this post far and wide so that people who need help with their pets know where to turn to instead of making it someone elses responsibility.

Cat neutering-not only prevents kittens but reduces the risk of FIV.
Contact your local RSPCA branch if you are on benefits or contact your local Cats Protection branch.
Going on holiday-there are lots of options available for this. A reliable friend or neighbour, local cat/dog sitters to come to your home, local cattery or kennels. Ask on social media for recommendations.

Three weeks ago we told you the story of our gorgeous Lulu and her five kittens. Fast forward to today and her babies have now all started to walk. You will be seeing alot more of these kittens in the weeks to come, they are such a cute family

Update
Baby Biscuit s new family have sent us an update to say that he has settled really well, and is playing virtually non stop with their 2 children, and more recently their other cat.
Such a happy outcome for our little one, and we are so grateful to his new family .
We miss him, but are so pleased he has the best possible home 💙

Baby Biscuit is now with his new family ….
He has a lovely home & we know he will be safe and really well looked after.
We will miss this little boy so much!
We are so grateful to the staff who have taken him home to care for him & feed him through the night, and to our amazing vets without whom Biscuit would certainly not have survived. He came to us weighting 200 grams & this morning was 1.78 kilos.
Just love this boy 💙💙💙
