A huge thank you to our volunteer demolition team who came in this morning & cleared all the old pens and the flooring in preparation for our new units.
These boys completed the whole job in less than 2 hours!! And saved us a huge amount of money.
We are so grateful to you all for giving up our free time at the weekend .

We only have two bags left of men’s clothes!! These reseller bags will be available to purchase until next Wednesday and we will then post when more bags are available!

Any resellers out there?

We have all of these bags available filled with men’s and women’s clothes (seperated into men’s and women’s). They are available to buy from our charity shop and are filled with stock we havnt sold. All items are in good condition.

We will be selling them in our charity shop 406a Manchester Road from Saturday and the bags are £10 each.

Marvin - 8 months old

Marvin is a happy little chap who loves head rubs and cuddles. He is such a chilled out cat and is a dream to look after. He loves his food and will definitely let you know when he is hungry with his meows and he also loves to play! He is an ideal addition to any family as their new fur baby

We are looking for a home for Marvin with a nice family or couple who are looking for a chilled out kitty he is also good with children too! He also loves the outdoors so will need a safe home away from any hazards or dangers so he can explore safely.

Marvin is neutered, microchipped, flead, wormed and vet checked. He has started his vaccinations and is due his final vaccine mid February.

If you are interested in rehoming Marvin please read our rehoming policy and submit the application form below. An adoption fee of £85 applies.

Demolition Team

Thank you so much to all who responded to our request for volunteers.
The date we would like to do this is Saturday Feb 15th from around 11 in the morning. Because of the size of the room, we think the maximum number of people is 6.

From 2pm until 4pm today pop down to our Jumble Sale bargains galore and lots of lovely cakes too!

Sunday 2nd Feb we will be hosting our first jumble sale of the year! We have an enormous amount of stock for you that has been building up over the past few months!

And not to forget after a mad clothes rush why not sit down and relax with a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious slice of cake or sweet treat!

Update on Bailey!!

Bailey has now left the veterinary hospital and is being cared for 24/7 by one of our fabulous staff members. He's come such a long way in the last few days. His operation site is healing nicely and he is moving around now alot more confidently, putting on weight and starting to use his litter tray. Such a good boy. He still has no sight, which is very sad but he will be kept safe and will adapt to his surroundings. There is still a glimmer of hope that he may gain some vision back even if that's just seeing light and dark shadows. Fingers crossed, come on little Bailey 🙏

It’s our first jumble sale and cake sale tomorrow! We have all our clothes sorted and ready to go and cakes are being baked! We can’t wait to see you tomorrow at the usual place! St Paul’s church hall, Heaton Moor tomorrow from 2pm until 4pm!

Volunteer Demolition Team !!!!

Strange request, but do we have any strong people who would be willing to help us rip out our old pens in our downstairs kitten room before we have it refurbished?

We need to do this in about a week, & it involves taking out the existing pen walls & doors, all of which are fairly light, but there will be glass panels. We will have a skip booked.

I think this will take 2-3 hours with a few people: it will be very dusty so not suitable for anyone with asthma etc. We can’t pay, but can provide lots of tea and cake!!

We have had these old pens for more than 20 years - and they were second hand originally! We need to replace them in order to keep the room super clean for the Mums & tiny babies.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
