‼️ ATTENTION ALL CLIENTS‼️
It’s been brought to our attention that there has been a confirmed case of strangles on a yard local to us. This illness is very contagious between horses if bio-security procedures are not followed.
We have located foot baths which contain disinfectant and hand sanitizers located on the entrance and exit to the yard.
All clients will need to use these before entering the yard so we ask please use them and don’t step over them if seen not using the foot bath or hand sanitizer this may result if refusal on entering the yard. The above measures are in place to keep our horses safe. No clients will be allowed to walk through the main yard.

🎅MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE🎅 Thank you for all of your continued support, and love for our team and the sport. This is a time where we can all rest and enjoy some sweet treats, including our ponies! Here is the Christmas Eve tradition from yesterday. This is where we turn out horses out into a new field with grass and haylage, and then take out all of the carrots and apples that you guys have brought for them🥰 (we have held some back as we do it on New Year’s Eve too!). What a lovely sight😍 some very happy ponies. Merry Christmas from everyone at Glen Jakes Riding School. We hope you all have a lovely time and we will see you in a few days time🎄❤️

🤩Here is a little Yew Tree update from Becky!!🤩 ⭐️Look how much our young herd have grown!!⭐️ 👀Can you spot the riding school pair that have gone on their holidays? They will be back on Tuesday for the next two to go!👀

⭐️A LITTLE YEW TREE UPDATE⭐️ …Also introducing❤️NALA❤️, our new little filly. Thank you to everyone who voted, we hope you love Nala as much as we do! Mum (Pamela) and Nala are doing super well🎉🥰 Here we have a little update from some of the guys at yew tree! Lad and Bubbles are also there for their mini two week holiday. This is where we give all of our riding school horses and ponies two weeks off to enjoy lots of grass to reward them for how hard they work. This works on a rota basis. ENJOY😊

Is there a better sight? Than letting the ponies into a new field?🥰 We decided to let our horsey team have a lovely bank holiday weekend on some grass, safe to say I think they’ve enjoyed the chill time😎 Clearly we lost count as they all ran past us that fast🤣 (the commentary) Can you see your favourite pony/ horse?
