We will be having some changes in 2025…

𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠

We will no longer be offering block booking for the whole year. If you’d like to block book you can book up to 3 appointments. This will be to allow for flexibility for appointments.

𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐍𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐬

If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours you will be charged full price of your appointment. If you don’t turn up to your appointment with no prior notice you will be required to pay full price of your appointment upon rebooking.

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞

We recommend no longer than an 8 week schedule for most breeds. If you go over your schedule you will be charged an additional £5-10 depending on your dog’s coat length and condition.

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬

I will only be offering appointments on a Monday and Thursday 9.30 - 3pm, Tuesday morning 9.30 -12.30 and Wednesday 2 - 5pm at the moment but these could change.

We will be stopping Saturdays from mid February and offering an evening during the week. Please keep your eyes peeled for when this happens. Any appointments currently booked outside of my working hours may need to be rescheduled unless I can work around and accommodate.

I aim to focus on the academy this year so my own diary will be very limited. When students join us you can have your dog groomed by a student for a discounted price.

April will be grooming a Wednesday & Friday mornings. She will only be grooming part time for the foreseeable but helping with admin and other salon tasks in the afternoons.

Grace & Lily will be joining us and Paige will continue grooming on a Friday. They are separate businesses to Canine Co and have their own hours, pricing and availability. If we cannot accommodate you we’d be happy for you to use one of these amazing groomers.

𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞

We will be having a price increase this year. Please keep your eyes peeled for that post. Unfortunately we can’t afford to swallow another year of rising costs.

✨ We have a new Groomer joining us in 2025 ✨

Grace will be joining the salon in January with her new business gracesspagrooms. She will be renting one of our tables Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to start.

We are super excited for Grace to join the salon and can’t wait to watch her flourish with her new venture! 🤍🐩

I may be able to offer some extra appointments for anyone I’ve cancelled but I do apologise if I can’t fit you back in. I will happily recommend other groomers if you can get appointments with them. ✨ DECEMBER UPDATE ✨

I will be back in work on Tuesday 3rd December 🎅🏻

The salon will only be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Saturdays in December due to not having childcare on the other days.

I am currently fully booked for December and unfortunately as some of the days I will be working was scheduled to have two groomers in I will have to cancel or try and move some appointments to a later time on the day they are booked for. I’m really sorry if this is an inconvenience I understand it’s not ideal but I will be working alone in the week and only have an extra pair of hands on a Saturday to help.

If you’ve decided to stay with another groomer for December and would like to cancel your appointment with me please let me know as this can free up space for someone else.

❗️ CLOSING FOR NOVEMBER ❗️

Unfortunately I was hoping to be stronger than I am though I look ok on the outside I’ve been crumbling away. The last month or so running the business, Archies early arrival, recovering from a pretty rough birth, limited childcare and now muddling my way through PND I have been told by the Drs to take time away so I’ve decided the best thing for my mental and physical health is to take a step back from the business as I feel right now I can’t give my all to you as my wonderful clients or to my business.

This isn’t an easy decision as I really thought I’d be able to “crack on” because I didn’t want to let clients down.

Therefore Canine Co. will be closed for November and I will assess how I feel ready to return in December but this will be part time most likely.

We have some lovely table renters in the salon so you will likely still see the salon open.

I will temporarily be limiting my use of the business socials to reduce stress load, I hope you can understand.

✨ WE WILL BE BACK OPEN ON TUESDAY! ✨

Further to our previous closure posts, closing until December or even November is not feasible for us as a small business.

Therefore we will be opening back up and running from Tuesday 22nd October HOWEVER please read…

• We will only have ONE groomer working 9am- 3pm Tuesday to Saturday so we will need to move some appointments to accommodate these hours.

• If you have booked elsewhere we RECOMMEND staying with that groomer incase we can not accommodate you. Any availability will be posted in due course. Just let us know if you’ve booked elsewhere and we can cancel the appointment in our system.

• If we can’t accommodate you we have some wonderful groomers we can pass you over to temporarily

• I will have baby Archie with me 👶🏼 the little man will be joining me at the salon so if I don’t see you I’m likely sorting him out.

• Jamie my husband will be helping for the next week in the mornings whilst I get ready to come in (turns out getting out before 9am is pretty hard with a newborn 😂)

• I am recovering from a C Section but hope to be back to covering grooms by mid November.

• April is still off work therefore I will cover when I’m fully healed and Molly will be our main groomer for the time being.

• I have not been in the salon for 2 weeks so I have not picked any voicemails up so I do apologise if you’ve left messages and thought we are ignoring you! I did not have time to change the message on our machine before Archie made his dramatic entrance 🥲

Any questions just ask! I will try my best to respond to everyone’s messages as quickly as I can!

Little update ✨

Archie and myself are still in the hospital. We are really hoping to be discharged soon but he has struggled with a couple of things so we have to make sure all his levels are ok first.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s sent us wishes, cards and presents it means so much to us 🤍

I can clarify that having a baby is much harder than having a puppy 😂
