•UPDATE•

Hi everyone, I’m wanting to keep you in the loop regarding timelines on me coming back to work but at the minute I’m not 100% certain myself.
I’ve had a bit of a setback and have been back in hospital for a few days but hopefully that’s all sorted now.

This is absolutely not a position I ever thought I’d be in and it’s incredibly frustrating for me to essentially be sat at home not doing much other than letting my body heal (and physio ect 😇).

I am allowed to drive in 2 weeks time, so I’m going to see how that feels and take it from there. My initial thoughts are that I’ll start back with the smaller, calmer dogs that are less likely to pull, for obvious reasons.

BIGGEST thanks to Anna who has been covering a few of my regular pooches and using my van, so if you’ve seen All Paws driving about it’s not me but the lovely Anna from Belboosha as timing would have it her van was stolen so at least one thing worked in our favour.

Last of all thank you to my lovely loyal customers who have been texting and visiting me, it means so much.

I had no idea at the start of this accident how long it would take and was a bit naive thinking maybe a few weeks.

Nearly 2 weeks ago I had an accident which ended up with me in hospital, I finally got out last night after a 10 night stay and an operation on my spine as I’d managed to break my back in 2 places.

My customers have been extremely lovely and I’ve been inundated with visits, texts, flowers, chocolates and cards, thank you so much. I’m not going to sugar coat it, this has been a very painful experience but it could have been a lot worse and my incredible friend Anna is helping me so much, so if you see my van tootling round it’s not me, I’ll be no doubt on the sofa with my pooches 🐕 🐶

I’m not sure when I’ll be back as I’ve been told different timescales but I’ll keep everyone updated.

I recently stayed in the most amazing dog friendly cottage with a lovely friend and our kids, plus 3 dogs.

If you fancy getting away for a relaxing weekend or longer I can’t recommend Croft Cottage enough. To say it’s dog friendly is an understatement, the owner had thought of everything to make both humans and pooches feel welcomed. The garden is the size of a football pitch and enclosed, it feels so remote yet you are just set back from the main street..

3 x big double bedrooms, a huge kitchen diner, pool table and best of all, a hot tub with views of the castle!

Thank you to all my incredibly lovely customers for trusting me with their very precious pooches. It’s been a bit of a tough year for different reason’s but my dogs have make me laugh no matter what.

My gorgeous boy who sits quite comfortably like this 🤣 had a fantastic training session today with Damian Riley.
We worked on his lead walking, recall and this will hopefully help with how reactive he is on lead to other dogs.
Ozzy hasn’t got a bad bone in his body but he sounds like he wants to eat other dogs when on lead and lack of recall is making walks no fun and clearly not safe.

You’ll probably see me in brabyns with this beast on a longline most evenings, I’m determined to make his life and ours easier and happier 🐾
