Looks like it’s going to be a warm week, I will be starting earlier to try and miss the hottest part of the day. If I feel it gets too hot I will reduce walk times and make sure the dogs are comfortable at all times in the shade and with water. As always I will keep you up to date many thanks

Today is which is to encourage people to adopt those dogs that are of a darker shade. Sadly black dogs are usually harder to rehome due to their colour. Personally, I have no idea why 🤷‍♀️.

With the predicted temperatures set to get up to 27 degrees everyday this week, I will be starting earlier and cutting walks shorter if needed to try and make sure that all of the dogs are ok.
I will be taking each day as it comes. As always if it does get to 25 degrees or over I do not walk any dogs as it is just too hot for them even in the shade and with water. If you are not home I will happily do garden visits so they can at least get a toilet break. If I do cut the walk short or it is too hot for a walk I will always let you know what they have had.
If you will be about and do want cancel this week please do let me know, so I can rearrange my groups.
Thanks so much for your understanding but as always the dogs welfare is my priority.

Missing a walk can’t kill your dog, but one walk in the heat can.

I know Iv seen lots of post about dogs and the heat but I really can not believe how many people I’m still seeing waking their dogs in the heat and on hot pavements. Today and tomorrow are going to be even hotter than yesterday.
Please please keep your furry friends safe.
Dogs sweat through their paws. By waking them on a hot pavement they can not sweat. I have taken the precaution to cancel all walks today and tomorrow as all my customers know I take the safety of their pets very seriously and I won’t take the risk. Please stay safe xx

Tomorrow is supposed to be very hot for our furry friends. Please remember missing a walk for one day will not kill your dog but one walk when it’s too hot can. Let’s keep them safe ❤️

Going away but don’t want to put your cat (or small animal) in a Cattery? Why not leave them at home where they feel safe and happy. I can pop in, feed them change their litter tray and play with them for you. I am DBS checked and have a degree in Animal Behaviour. I cover the Stockport area.
