My Story
I am dedicated to providing your pets with the level of care that I would expect my own pets to receive, as I know full well how important it is to leave your beloved four-legged friend and in a safe and loving environment and in the care of someone you can fully trust, ….. which I can guarantee you will find with me! Why choose me? • CRB checked • fully insured • certified in pet first aid • licenced home boarder with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council A bit about me ........ Hi, my name is Claire and I live in Norton with my husband Mike and our two dogs and two cats. My love of animals stems from a very early age growing up on an organic farm near Stokesley which bred rare breed shorthorn cattle. Border collies were always part of our family on the farm since I can remember, along with my own ducks, rabbits and hamsters. I now share my heart and my home with two whippet crosses, Dillon and Tai. We adopted Dillon 7 years ago from Butterwick Kennels, with the most appalling case of starvation I have ever seen. Following the sad death of our beloved rough coated Lurcher Clifford to bone cancer and the onset of Dillon’s depression from the loss of his best pal, we adopted Tai who had previously had 2 owners and a lengthy stay in kennels before finding his forever home with us. Our two cats Sassy and Missy were adopted from the Cats Protection as kittens in 2012 …. And finally, last but not least, I suppose I’d better include my husband in this too. Professionally, I’ve worked in an office since the age of 17, and gained my AAT accounting qualification in 2012. However, when we struggled to find a dog sitter to board our dogs whilst holidaying in the Cotswolds it spurred me on to follow my passion to work with animals full time and launch this business.
