A day in the life...........
6.45am Alarm.
7-7.30am Get up, shower, breakfast.
7.30am Start clean outs, when we are busy that can be up to 23 hutches / enclosures 💩.
7.45am Get departing guests ready to go home.
8-8.30am Greet arrivals, health checks and put in accommodation.
8.30am Continue cleanouts, morning feeds and health checks
10-11am Get changed, make dinner, drive over to our shop Ingleby Pet Supplies & Dog Grooming - Thornaby and work my shift, sometimes going to collect stock on the way.
5.30pm Close shop and head out to deliver customer orders.
6-6.30pm Make tea, eat tea, toilet break, get departing guests ready!! Check everyones paid before they go home 🙈
6.30-7pm Greet customers, settle arrivals into their accommodation.
7-8pm Clean out departing guests accommodation, evening feeds, admin time.
8-8.30pm Clean & tidy house before sitting down with family.
9-9.30pm Time for bedtime checks then go to bed myself ready to do it all again the next day!! 😴

There are a few days that I work from home too, so mostly spent doing admin for the shop & grooming salon! Craig has worked from home since 2020 too, so keeps an eye on things when I am away from the house 🧐

One third of a trio - Pepper, Bean & Willow arrived last night!

We have several trios staying this year. Willow, Phoebe and Roxy were with us last week, and Peanut, Minnie & Snowflake and Liz, Kiwi & Peaches are joining us this week, with Orla, Sage & Waffle arriving next week.

We have 5ft, 6ft & 8ft hutches so can accommodate groups of up to 6 guinea pigs for short stays.

🏡 Availability - updated

Just updated the diary after a couple of cancellations and released some more dates.

Anyone on the waiting list has been notified of availability. If you no longer need space please let me know so I can offer to soneone else.

14-22nd Aug we have 2 x hutches for indoor guinea pigs available.

12th-20th Aug I have a 6ft outdoor hutch available for rabbits or guinea pigs.

28th Aug onwards we have space for rabbits and guinea pigs.

Managed to get 3 out of the group of 5 guinea pigs!!

❄️ Important ❄️ Please check your dates & times on your booking confirmation. Have you sent me vaccination proofs? Are your emergency contact details up to date? Please let me know ASAP if you need to amend your booking. Thank You.

If your rabbits are living in an unheated shed or garage we have 6ft hutches available in our garage. Light is left on through the day, with a night light over night. Bedrooms are filled with hay and straw for warmth. The garage is fractionally warmer than outside and offers more protection from the rain, snow or wind. This is still too cold for guinea pigs but fine for outdoor buns.

A quick video showing our outdoor accommodation. The runs are sheltered with a solid roof and back, the interior bedrooms are resting up slightly off the floor and are filled with hay and straw for warmth. When it rains they rarely get wet due to the position of the house which offers additional shelter. We have clear tarps at each end to stop the wind blowing through. As you can see some bunnies like to jump on top of their bedrooms to get a better look !!
