Dog of the Week in Birmingham - Kiera

Introducing Kiara! šŸ¾ Our gorgeous 2-year-old Malinois is seeking a loving, experienced home.

Kiara's a lively girl with incredible potential. While she's made progress, there's still work to do. She's sweet with a soft side but may sometimes nip to seek attention. Patience and training are essential for her.

She has shown signs of food possession and dog reactivity, so she needs a confident, experienced owner and a child-free home. Proper training and desensitisation are essential, and a potential muzzle introduction might be necessary.

Despite challenges, Kiara shows promise. She craves understanding and needs someone familiar with Malinois's traits and reactive behaviour. Let's find Kiara a patient and dedicated home!

Day 22: Can you give us a forever home?

We have so many wonderful young dogs in our shelter, just waiting for a chance at a forever home. These, friendly youngsters donā€™t deserve to spend their whole life growing up in a shelter.

If you are considering a dog for your family, please adopt donā€™t shop.

Meet Moo! Moo is a total catch (who ironically canā€™t catch a flying hot dog to save his life). This show-stopping little bovine looks like a cross between a St. Bernard and a Basset Hound . . . sturdy, low to the ground, and handsome as all get out! Bonus: black and white go with everything, so Mooā€™s color scheme will match your home dĆ©cor perfectly!

Moo is a neutered black and white Queensland Heeler mix that weighs approximately 67 pounds. The shelter staff at PACC thinks heā€™s about 5 years old. Heā€™s been with them since July 29, 2022, and heā€™s been ready to go all this time!

We have some really beautiful kittens becoming available in the next few weeks.

We STILL have STORM & CEDRIC 2 male tabby kittens. They are now 6 months old & are fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed, and ready to go.

They are a little shy at 1st, but soon start interacting with you, loving to play and give lots of love. Real cuties who love a cuddle. They would suit a quieter home.

They were saved by a kind member of the public, when an advert went out to say if not collected by 10 a.m.the next day they would be thrown in a river in a bag ! šŸ˜¢šŸ˜”

We would love them to go as a pair. Please note that we don't rehome on or near busy roads or to children 5 and under.

Subject to homecheck and minimum donation fee.

Anyone wishing to adopt these gorgeous 2 cuties, please call Hilary 07939 255444 or Lisa 07970 194929 between 11 a.m & 6 p.m.

Please share. Many thanks x

This is Rory who arrived yesterday. Heā€™s not quite as skinny as this now as this was a couple of weeks ago when he was picked up by Swale Borough Council Stray Dog Service
He was cold and lifeless and a bag of bones but they have cared for him until it was time for him to move into rescue and here he is!
Poor Rory mustā€™ve been through hell and back but heā€™s on the mend and his personality will develop as he gets to know and trust you. Keep looking on our social media to follow his journey. If you feel Rory could be the special boy for you, remember he was a stray and canā€™t live with children or cats, will need help with house training and lots of everyday things and you will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing and this hasnā€™t put you off them please apply via our website www.kentgreyhoundrescue.com
