As your dog ages allowances need to be made, and extra care given. Ted, at the age of 15, is still a healthy dog.
For the last several years I've given him a 500mg Glucosamine Sulphate tablet in his breakfast to help his joints. He also has salmon oil in every meal.
I am also more aware of his deeper sleeps, so wake him up gently so as not to cause sleep startle.
Here is a good site about caring for an older dog, and in the comments I will also post a Canine Cognitive Dysfunction checklist...

Owners of aging dogs often struggle with their pets' dementia and incontinence — as well as navigating through end-of-life decisions. Veterinary behaviorist Nicholas Dodman talks about the best ways to care for your aging dog.

Battersea do some great videos with advice. This one is how to introduce your dog to other dogs... https://www.battersea.org.uk/pet-advice/dog-advice/how-introduce-your-dog-other-dogs-walks?utm_source=campaign&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=petadvice&utm_term=q6_both_interaction&utm_content=watch_cta&dm_i=5P0D,IRLJ,29Q8M6,2ALCU,1

Dogs are naturally social creatures who often love to play together, and for most dogs, meeting other dogs when out on walks is extremely common. Some dogs are happy to be sociable, while other prefer their own space and will be more comfortable with dogs who can respect their boundaries.

On the issue of using natural ingredients for dogs I have been looking into natural wormers. I have heard about pumpkin seeds ground and put into food, but other food items you can use are grated carrot, apple cider vinegar, and garlic (chopped and left for 15 minutes first). I would say to be careful on the amount of garlic and not to give to puppies. In large quantities it will probably do more harm than good, and it makes my dog ill.
With Halloween just around the corner it might be an idea to use some of the pumpkin seeds instead of a worming tablet.
A great site to read up on this is https://www.mypetnutritionist.com/post/natural-worming-options-for-pets

Do you have a dog that experiences separation anxiety? Try leaving some clothing with him that you’ve worn. It’s been proven that the scent you leave behind on your clothes can help ease your dog’s separation anxiety.
Here's a good article on Separation Anxiety. https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/dog-care/common-dog-behavior-issues/separation-anxiety

One of the most common behavior issues pet parents encounter with their dogs is separation anxiety. If your dog is distressed when you’re not home, learn more about how to train your dog to enjoy, or at least tolerate, being left alone.
