We wanted to take a moment to share something important about someone very special to us.
Amanda, who many of you will know as the bright, bubbly heart of our team.
Amanda will be taking a short break from work as she begins treatment following a recent breast cancer diagnosis.
The past few weeks have been really tough for all of us, as you can imagine, hearing that someone you care about so deeply is facing something so life changing has been heartbreaking. While this is Amanda’s journey, it’s impossible not to feel the impact when someone so special is going through something so difficult.
Amanda hasn’t left the shop and she wants everyone to know that. She’ll just be spending the next little while focusing on her health, her treatment, and most importantly, her family. And we know she’ll be throwing everything she’s got at it, just like she does with everything else in life.
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Amanda, you’ll know exactly what we mean when we say she is one of the loveliest people you could ever meet. She lights up every room she walks into, with her warmth, her humour, and the way she always makes time for everyone. She’s more than just amazing at her job, she’s the heart of our team, and the kind of person who turns a workplace into a family.
We’re already counting down the days until she’s back with us, dancing round the shop, cracking jokes and just being her wonderful self. We cannot wait to see her ring that bell and come back stronger than ever.
We know she’s going to absolutely smash it and we’re behind her every single step of the way, just like we know all of our lovely customers will be too
