Henny, Hen, more recently HENNY (due to hearing loss, well I think so anyway) 🤣

There are a million things am going to miss about you Hen, pressing your nose against the door, the pitter patter of your feet running to the door, shouting at me if am late, or if am not fast enough to get you in the van, that little run to the van, playing where's hen when you lie down with ya ball and I can't see you (I always could but the game was fun) people saying to me " I only knew it was you cause I saw Henry" I don't even talk to people normally and you made me make friends for treats 🤣

who's going to guild our walks now pal? My shot gun buddy, the most laid back, happy, ball monster. You helped so many dogs see the world like you did, which was a magical place 💙

My heart is with his beautiful family Lizzy, Ed and Connie, I know that bond of a little girl and her 1st dog, but boy you give her the best pal ever.

They don't make them like you Hen, one in a million and honestly am absolutely broken 💔 am not picking you up every day, thanks for being the most amazing friend henny lad, I will still say morning my handsome boy every morning 💙

I just want to take a minute to thank each and every one of my customers for understanding my risk assessment cancellations this week. You're amazing and I am grateful for you ❤️

Your dogs are part of my family that's what makes what I do so special

Thanks for gifts of gloves and walking sticks ❤️

Am just going to highlight a few reasons why I cancel, in these situations, because I've seen it all this week.

I watched a dog walker get put in an ambulance while I was solo walking one of my own dogs, only one, because the other has one speed which is 100mph and would have ended up doing what this guy did. (RIVER)

Two as much as I'd love to I don't have crash cages in my van, the side roads and car parks of county parks were dangerous, I visit around 20 houses a day, while I am a good driver in conditions like this, many aren't and still take to the roads. (I did drive to dogs that needed to get to because they were alone, just not put in my van)

Dogs act differently in groups and while I manage it appropriately excitement happens, dogs love playing at your feet.

If one day off and the miss of one walk stops six weeks off because I've broken a leg, written my van off or worse your dog gets injured like this guy. I'll take the financial loss.

It's more than a business, 💚🐾

We’ve been contacted a few times asking why we’re not opening the field during the frosty weather, as the ground will be firm.

This is our dog Dexter, who skidded (admittedly chasing a pigeon) on the icy grass on Tuesday resulting in damaging the stop pads on both front paws.

This is why we aren’t open. This isn’t soft fluffy snow or a bit of frost. It’s now ice and incredibly abrasive to dogs’ feet during off lead play.

Please be careful until this cold snap passes. Learn from my mistake so that you don’t have a depressed and pained pupper like us. 😭😭

Just been to do an assessment walk with the main man, am not overly chuffed with the under foot, but the side roads have cleared.

I know the dogs I walk can cope in this weather, it's the keeping the van on the road and my feet on the floor, with a group of dogs, this isn't snow it's ice ice baby 🧊⛸️❄️ am always safe not sorry

If you're in for walkies tomorrow I'll message if I deem unsafe, otherwise it goes ahead

I've cancelled today on a risk level, walks and training sessions, the roads and under foot aren't worth the risk.
I've contacted everyone individually.

We lost a little legend Diesel dog 💙🐾 he joined the Greenpaws team last year when grandad Greenpaws retired and started coming walkies once a day, Diesel LOVED seeing everyone, he LOVED legging it round bunny hill. He loved rolling in sand and paddling in streams, normal ending in a full swim. He was a little dog with a big personality. He tried not to get dirty, but dad ended up bathing him after most walks 😂 He will be massively missed 🌈 💙🐾
