We’ve had a brilliant time at Powerleague Stoke for our charity 5-a-side football tournament in aid of Caudwell Children.
19 teams played in the sun to win the coveted DJH cup, but there can only be one winner…
A huge congratulations to Lench Builders for their outstanding performance!🙌
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to all the incredible businesses that took part.
We’ve managed to raise over £2,000 for the Cauldwell Children, which will go towards providing access to life changing services for disabled and autistic children.
Thank you once again to all the businesses, players and supporters who helped us raise funds for such a worthy cause. 💜

⭐ Day in the life- Payroll Apprentice ⭐
With National Payroll Week in full swing, we've asked Ashleigh-Ann Rushton, Payroll Apprentice, to take us through her day to day role and responsibilities!
From ensuring we follow all the necessary regulations, to attending webinars this week hosted by The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) for National Payroll Week, Ashleigh-Ann has given an insight into what it looks like working for the number 1 SME apprenticeship employer 2024!
We're taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks 🗻
Yes, that's right! We're swapping our office shoes for walking boots, and are preparing to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 28th September!
The team will be pushing their stamina to the extreme, taking on the challenge and conquering three of the best-known hills in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which are:
⛰️Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres)
⛰️Whernside (736 metres)
⛰️Ingleborough (723 metres)
Training is already in full swing, with some of the team bracing the British weather with some furry friends to practice getting their steps in!
It’s safe to say this is no easy challenge and an extremely demanding hike, covering a distance of 24.5 miles and climbing a total of 5,200ft!
This challenge isn't only to test ourselves though, as we're also aiming to raise funds and awareness for the amazing work of Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity chosen by the team themselves as one close to their hearts.
Macmillan offers support to everyone with cancer, so that they can live life as fully as they can, by providing physical, financial and emotional support. No matter what a person's needs are, they will listen and support them at every step.

It's 'knot' summer without a sports day!
An epic day of team games awaited some of our Stoke team at today's inaugural #KnotASportsDay event, where they were put through their paces against other local businesses, taking home the silver medal in a very (very!) competitive field. 🥈
We’d like to think that should Human Hungry Hippos, Team Skipping or the Egg and Spoon race, be added to the Olympics, our team would be first pick for Team GB.

Let’s face it, DJH Mitten Clarke is a bit of a mouthful, nevertheless, after the journey we’ve been on over the last three years, the name has served us well and is recognised with our clients and across the industry. But naturally, it always seems to be abbreviated to DJH.
So, we think it’s high time we evolved our brand.
That’s why we’ve now taken the decision to simply become, DJH.

It's Employee Appreciation Day ⭐
Appreciating your team should be an all year round thing, not just for one day. We've definitely built a team that we're extremely proud of. They’re talented, they’re passionate and they’re ambitious. If we do say so ourselves, we think they're pretty great.
It's always nice to be appreciated for the work you do, but its even nicer to have a great culture. For us, it's more than just talk, it's creating a working environment where everyone feels included and respected.

The past month has been all about getting to know our numbers with the help from our friends at New Leaf Health! 🍂
We held health screenings across our offices for a 1-2-1 MOT session where we learnt more about our health, including checks and tests on weight, BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol and metabolic rate!
