Great advise.
Those of you who have had puppies from us know how much we advocate for mental stimulation as a must for all breeds.
Brain work, especially scent work is as important if not more than physical exercise.

Here he is holidaying in the beautiful Peak District and the last one is from when he was still with us.
Zimbro's (who is a Springador) mum is a vet and takes him with her every day, working in and around the lovely Dartmoor area...what a lucky boy.

We cannot reiterate the importance of training with dogs. They need clear and consistent guidance and boundaries. Luckily we have lots of fantastic owners who are actively training there 4 legged friends.

One of our home bred dobermanns, displaying the breed trait of 'Velcro Dog'
Maple, absolutely shattered after a long walk but can't close those eyes unless she's touching her mum!
Check out her amazing heel work in the comments. Fantastic work from her owners and of course 6 month old Maple.
As soon as you get your puppy home, start training for short periods and often and then continue to build on this throughout their lives.
This will not only put boundaries in for their behaviour but also fulfill them mentally.

This breed can make amazing members of an active family home who will give them the time and stimulation to satisfy them physically, though more importantly mentally.
We always recommend putting the foundations of training in from the start with a good breed experienced professional trainer.
