This Happy little boy was reunited with his owners last night. Thank you all who shared and messaged.

He walked me straight past his house which was 5 mins around the corner. 🙈 His owner said he has no sense, I had to agree. 🤣🤣

UPDATE.

This lovely boy is now at Lime Trees/Vets Now.

I took him for a walk, hoping he might take me home, sadly we didn't find home but we have had a lovely long walk. 😟

The below gorgeous boy has just been caught running around Uttoxeter road near to Brammall drive, Bythe Bridge

We currently have him and I will be contacting Lime Trees shortly.

We have seen him being walked around the area but don't know where he lives. If you know his owner please ask them to contact me.

An old old post that is still valid today.. I think everyone with dogs can relate to the constant dirt you have to contend with when it is wet outside.

The dogs don't care at all that they dry themselves off on your settee. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wow! We have been open for 6 years now, I think I must have aged 20 being so busy looking after your wonderful dogs. 😃

Not quite sure where all of that time has gone and why so quickly🙈.

We have looked after some wonderful dogs and some since we opened when they we only 14 or 16 weeks old. They came as puppies and now we are like their second home. We have seen dogs come & go (we don't suit everyone) and as ever with life we have see some sorrow as our furry friends fly high over the 🌈🐾🐾😪

We managed to stay afloat through the covid years and we have survived with our Sanity intact. 😃 although I do question myself sometimes. Especially after nearly 3 months of solid rain!.

I know I don't post often these days but I am still here with Chris and your lovely pooches and we would like to thank you for your continued support over the last 6 years. 😃 🙏

Just as the day is ending we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

We are blessed with best customers and have had some lovely gifts some even brought tears to our eyes.

As we are nearing the end of what has been a very busy and sometimes sad year we wish for you a happy & healthy 2024 with lots of doggie cuddles throughout. 🐾🐾🐾.

We would like to thank you all for your kind messages and gifts over the past week. Your kind words have meant so much to us as we stumbled through our days, keeping busy with all of our guests. ❤️🙏

Life goes on and our Beautiful Bella will never be forgotten.

We would also like to thank Bramble and Bear Vet Caren who provided Bella and our family with the best of care in her final hours. Their compassion was unquestionable and their support through the most difficult of times was much needed.

Bramble and Bear worked directly with Green Pastures Pet Crematorium who again made this journey so much easier with care and compassion. Bringing our Beautiful Bella back home to us this Morning.

We can't thank you all enough. ❤️🙏🌈🐾🐾

It is with a heavy heart I write this post.

Our Whole World came crashing down yesterday when we unexpectedly had to say our last goodbyes to our Beautiful Bella. She fell asleep forever in my arms yesterday evening and we are devasted.

Bella was the much loved matriarch of our Pawsome Holidays camp and will be missed by so many of our guests. She always told me if a new dog was allowed to come and stay and she was our one in a million!.

Life isn't going to be the same without her but she is now flying high over that 🌈.

Hi everyone hope we have all had a good Summer? It's a shame we didn't really see much of the Sun though🙄. The dogs didn't mind and it has been a lot more comfortable (temperature wise) for them.

Remember sweltering last year in 39c 🥵 heat, this year we have needed wellies and lots of towels to keep drying the dogs off!

We have had our busiest year ever and September is just as busy. (Just minus the kids😁)

We have seen old friends and made new friends and I think it is fair to say all of the guests have had a blast. 😁🐾🐾🐾

We've had rain, fog, snow, freezing temperatures. 100s of enquiries and lovely guests. Doggies have even visit us from the skies. 😍

Please note that Uttoxeter Road through Blythe Bridge is closed.

If you are coming to us from Stoke side you will have no problem coming down Uttoxeter Road.

If you are coming from Cheadle or Tean side you can't come through the village. Currently Grindley Lane is open at the bottom, but could be chaos with people dropping kids off for school.

We've had such a busy Summer with some lovely guests and some very busy guests that it's been difficult to find the time to post. Not to mention that for some reason FB only let's me scroll so far through my gallery to load pictures. 🤷🏼

Don't they realise I literally have 1000s of photos to choose from.🙈

So I will keep trying 🤞 (taking IG off to see if that works🤪🙄) nope it didn't other than being able to post more than 10 pictures at a time😁. I can still only see about 3 weeks of photos from my gallery 🤪😟😭

And Just like that The Summer holidays are over! 😬

As we breathe a sigh of relief, not only have we been full every day (and still are) with our 4 legged guests. I can now officially close the Teeneage Taxi & Café Services. 🤣🤣 Well until the weekends.

The heat has been replaced by rain & thunderstorms, surely it isn't time to get the winter woolies out yet?. 🤔🐾🐾

We all survived the ridiculous heat of a few weeks ago, the garden is loving the rain and we are gearing up for another week of hot weather next week. 🥵🙄😁

Please please please read this it could just save a life, four legged or otherwise.

We are open but all of the dogs are inside the curtains & doors are closed. The fans are on and I have damp teatowels in the freezer to bring out later to cool our guests down. Not to mention copious amounts of ice cold water on tap.

Fortunately we also have the old part of the house that feels positively cold at the moment. 😁🐾🐾🐾

“HEATSTROKE IS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY”

I’m compelled to keep posting this. I’ve learned of a number of dogs that have died of heatstroke in the recent heatwave.

If you see a horse or person or dog with heatstroke, then cool them down by hosing/spraying water from the outside or house water supply (usually 10-20°C). It doesn't have to be ice-cold to be effective as long as you put a lot on. You may well save a life!

And yes, I know there is a lot of advice about cooling horses, dogs and people which goes against aggressive cooling and advises ice packs in the groin or armpit and using tepid water! It's outdated and ineffective and if you follow it your horse/dog/person is more likely to suffer permanent injury or worse!

If you don't believe me, then listen to the people who do this for a living with people...

"Active cooling via Cold Water Immersion (CWI) is now the standard of care and should be done immediately. This is a Grade IA recommendation.5 The patient should be immersed in ice water 1 to 3°C." http://www.emdocs.net/heat-related-illness-how-to-cool-em-and-what-to-do-after/

Are we half way through July yet?🤔.

We have had lots of new dogs staying with us but even more of the Pawsome family have come back post Covid. Some of our guests have been booked in for the same 2 weeks for the last couple of years and after multiple cancellations we are finally getting to look after them. 😁

Families enjoying their holidays, whilst their dogs enjoy their holidays with us!🐾🐾🐾🐾.😁

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not walk your dogs in this heat.

Leave it until 8 or 9 pm before you even consider taking your furry loved one for a walk or you might be taking an unexpected emergency trip to the vets!
