AVAILABLE - very shy

Meet summer, summer is a 3 year old greyhound, summer has come in through no fault of her own at all, however we don't hold any history on her at all. summer is neutered.

about summer, summer is a shy lady who soon warms up to people, however summer is very shy of men and wary of them :(
summer does love her food and possibly could be a food pincher!, she does however take treats off men but is still wary to pass them, she is better with females.

in the kennels summer is very clean in her kennel, she is good on her lead and does have a playful nature, when in the pen she does love to chase but stops at that, she loves to run and enjoy herself.

we think summer needs a home where she can have the time and attention/understanding that she needs, if there is a male in the house this may take also a bit of time with trusting, we do also think she may do better with another greyhound also to help with her anxiety.

this lovely lad is very affectionate with staff and meets us every day with on the spot hops of excitement to see us! :)

PENDING MEET AND GREET :) - needs to be only pet but otherwise a cuddle munster!

Meet noodle, noodle is a 3 year old poochon, noodle has come into us due to his owner working long hours :(

we have been told noodle is house trained, travels well, good with children, but unknown for cats but he needs to be an only dog because he can pester the other dogs, he is fine to walk past other dogs but in a house he does pester the other pets.

in the kennel noodle is a good boy for us, he is extremely loving and loves to be on our laps or in our arms and cuddles us like a koala bear!, he is good on the lead and very pleasant to work with, however we think noodle needs an owner who is in during the day to ensure he doesn't get left and upset and can be with his owner all the time, noodle does have separation anxiety.

Meet dudu, dudu is a 3 year old x pug, dudu has come in due to his owner having to move away and cannot take him with them :(

we have been told dudu is house trained, good with other dogs, children but cats is unknown.

in the kennels dudu is very shy and quiet and good for staff, he loves attention but also likes to do his own thing, he is also very nosy and likes to see what is going on around him and he is very alert.

dudu now needs his furever home where he can get all the attention and love that he needs, dudu is good on the lead and happily strolls along for staff.

💥the city dogs home now has another special playpen for the dogs to have exercise in with their new potential owners on our main yard! the dogs have already been enjoying their zoomies!💥

to arrange a meet and greet with all dogs or one in particular please call us on 01782 304 130 we can also now arrange pop in visits also between 12 and 3pm if we get a quick call first to let us know so we don't get too overbooked!

AVAILABLE - lovely girl

meet blaze, blaze is a 6 year old female x staffie, blaze has come into us with blitz also because her owner has been made homeless :(

we have been told blaze is house trained, good with children, other dogs and travels well but cats is unknown.

in the kennels blaze has been a good girl for us, she is clean in her kennel and good on the lead, she is no trouble at all for us and a lovely girl to work with!

blaze now needs her furever home where she can get all the attention and love that she needs.

unlucky lockee is still available, this lovely boy really needs a home soon and a home where he can get lots of exercise!

AVAILABLE- lovely young boy- intelligent!

Meet lockee, lockee is an approx 6 month old mali x, lockee came into us as a stray and he has not been re-claimed 🙁 lockee is now available for adoption.

about lockee, lockee is quite quiet here in the kennels and clean in the kennel unless desperate, he knows some commands and does show a lot of intelligence already!, he is good on the lead and a good boy for staff!, he has had a lot of attention already but has been let down a few times 🙁

we think lockee needs a home where he can get the exercise and attention that he needs with an experienced owner, he has seemed to have some training already and just needs it to be kept up!.
overall he is a lovely boy with lovely mannerisms with us.

monty has now been with us a while now :( he is struggling to get a home, this lovely lad is just a bouncy happy boy who needs a home where he can get lots of exercise that he needs!

DELI PENDING MEET AND GREET :)
DELILAH PENDING MEET AND GREET :) - can go together or seperate.

Meet delilah, deli is a 3 year old female chow-pei and deli who is an approx 1 year old x breed, delilah and deli have been surrendered now for re-homing due to owners change of circumstances.

we have been told they are both house trained, good with people, other dogs but deli isn't so good with other dogs, in the kennels they are both very good with staff and deli is a little more excitable, delilah is shy of new people but she soon warms up once she gets to know you but they where both fine with the vet nurses and dog warden when they where in their care.

both delilah and deli can now be re-homed together or seperately, we would prefer an older home with children 10+
