Our PR client SAS Water Ltd will continue to carry-out legionella control work during the Covid-19 lockdown which starts tomorrow (Thursday, 5 November).
It is vital that work to ensure safe water in buildings continues.

Our work to ensure water safety in buildings means SAS Water Ltd will be working throughout the November Covid-19 lockdown. We will do all we can to ensure our clients stay safe from both coronavirus and Legionnaires' Disease.

SAS Water Ltd: Covid-19 work protocols
Covid-19 is sadly on the rise again and the Government has announced a month long lockdown from Thursday, 4 November, 2020.
We know that this will impact our clients. Please keep in touch, share information, and let’s support each other through this pandemic and beyond.
In line with many other companies, SAS Water Ltd will continue to work through lockdown. Legionella safety inspectors are essential workers, therefore, we will continue to offer advice and carry-out site visits.
While coronavirus safety is upper most in all our minds at present, I’m sure clients will agree that, where ever possible, all health and safety testing and treatment should continue and this includes action to guard against Legionnaires’ Disease.
Our staff will act safely and responsibly at all times, implementing the following common sense guidelines:
• SAS Water Ltd remains open for business
• We will continue to send our engineers to jobs. Please contact us if you have changed your working practices or have any question
• Our engineers and risk assessors will maintain social distancing protocol in line with government guidelines and wear face-coverings
• Repeated handwashing will be practised and staff have been advised not to shake hands.
We understand that some companies may have their own rules in place and we will respect them throughout all site visits.
