The deformable knee block is slightly higher and slightly more tilted providing a different interface option for the rider’s leg to the World Class I
The block incorporates a shock-absorbing element that accommodates the forward movement of the knee – the optimal level of support without restriction.
To fine tune the leg support further, thanks to a quick and easy adjustment, the flap can be tilted through three different positions to move the block in relation to the rider’s thigh
Softer seat for rider feel-appeal
The Prolite-lined full panel has additional strengthening built into the top to maximise saddle stability
The World Class Dressage saddles are the only saddles to be scientifically tested with pressure mapping under the saddle and under the rider, combined with simultaneous two-dimensional and three-dimensional analysis of both horse and rider.

A massive thank you to all our clients and suppliers for their support, we have had a very eventful year with Melanie Hirrell passing her SMS bridle fitting qualification, John Hirrell winning saddle fitter of the year not to mention starting the construction of the new arena at Barlaston Horsey Stuff & Saddle Fitting Services. We are now closed for the Christmas holiday reopening on Tuesday 2nd January 2024.

Congratulations to Melanie Hirrell who recently became a Society of Master Saddlers Qualified Bridle Fitter.

Melanie has a vast equine background and over the years has worked on numerous yards from show jumping to riding schools. She has also worked for a saddlery manufacturer for over 14 years gaining a good inside knowledge of the saddlery manufacturing processes.

Competing on her own horses is her passion particularly show jumping, but recently has started eventing and also works alongside her husband Master Saddle Fitter John Hirrell at Barlaston Horse Supplies.

Melanie says "I was so pleased when the Society of Masters Saddlers started to do a bridle fitting qualification. It is such a vital part of kit and needs to be fitted correctly, with the research and technologies available we are now able to do this more effectively to ensure the horses comfort and welfare. A correctly fitted bridle & bit can make such a difference and I am very proud to be a part of it."

Melanie can check and advise on the fit of your existing bridle and bit but she also stocks a selection of bits and bridles should you need something different.
