For making our Reopening Day so very special. Our volunteers today & over the past few months have been amazing, you all know how much I appreciate you all 🥰
And our customers have been wonderfully supportive, with much needed kind words of encouragement for what has been a very tough few months. But you are the reason we carry on and rise to each & every challenge. Thank you all so much, you make the hard work worthwhile 🥰

We’re looking forward to reopening this Saturday 🥳
We haven’t been able to complete all our alterations, but felt we needed to reopen as soon as we could, so please be aware the far end of the scrapstore will remain closed off for a few more weeks. However all resources will be available.
We have a couple more days of tidy up & making sure we’re neat & tidy, but remember it’s Scrap Shack, we’re ALWAYS a work in progress 😂

At last, we are delighted to announce we’re reopening 🥳
Some of our planned improvements will have to be continued at a later date, but they won’t affect us being open.
We can’t wait for our customers to see what we’ve achieved & for those who felt the need to complain, we’ve sorted it 😂

Sorry we’re still closed 🥲
We’re back on task and working very hard, but there’s still a lot to do before we can reopen.
Here’s a sneaky peak of a very big work in progress, but fingers crossed it’s taking shape and making a difference, which will not only meet raised concerns, but also improve the whole layout and access for everyone 🥳

Sadly due to illness causing delays in implementing our building work, improvements and additional safety requirements, we are unable to reopen next week as previously planned.
This situation was initiated from an unfair and partially incorrect complaint made against us, which was addressed immediately, however it highlighted improvements which can only be achieved whilst closed to the public.
We will work as quickly as possible to get back to the tasks in hand and will post updates as we progress, but this could take us a few weeks.
Hopefully, everyone will appreciate the new improved Scrap Shack and Community RePaint when we reopen and nobody will feel in danger whilst visiting us.
Thank you to all our loyal customers who will understand why we are having to do this xx
