Eden Holistic Pet Foods is proud to support Sarah Jones and Bella. When Bella, Sarah's dog, was a puppy, she was attacked by another dog. This traumatic experience left her terrified of other dogs and triggered her fear. Bella would often react by growling or lunging at other dogs who came too close, not out of aggression, but because she was scared. Unfortunately, this often led to pitiful looks from passers by who didn’t realise what some of these anxious dogs have been through. This is why we wanted to help raise awareness for . Through compassionate education, we can help more dog owners understand the needs of anxious dogs and show that they’re not being aggressive—they just need space. All our ask for is a little space. When they get it, the world feels much less frightening. Today is Yellow Day, and we’re celebrating by raising awareness for National . Ahead of International Women's Day, the Eden team was thrilled to attend an event organised by The Staffordshire Chambers, which featured a number of inspiring women in business. The event was a wonderful opportunity to hear from a diverse group of female entrepreneurs, who shared their stories of humble beginnings, balancing family life with setting up a company, and the highs and lows that come with building a successful business.

One of the highlights of the event was a talk by Eve, the founder of our favourite cat fencing company Protectapet, who is another Staffordshire-based pet company.

Overall, the event was a fantastic celebration of women in business, and a great way to kick off International Women's Day. The Eden team left feeling inspired and motivated, with a renewed appreciation for the incredible contributions that women make to the world of business every day. We are already looking forward to next year's event, and can't wait to see what amazing women in business we will have the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by!
