Our informative ERG sessions resume on Sunday 19th January 2.00pm-4.00pm.

Suitable for all levels, this month we are looking at lunging and long-reining.

No matter whether you have never lunged or long-reined or want to improve your skills with our lovely schoolmasters, come along!

**** ROAD CLOSURE IN BROWN EDGE ***

From tomorrow (6th January) the junction of Sytch Road and High Lane in Brown Edge will be closed for repairs for a week.

This is the main junction in the village which leads you to Courses for Horses.

If you are coming from Norton, come through the village, go past the shops, exit the village and Broad Lane is the left turn at the top of the hill before you drop down to Endon.

If you are coming from Endon, it's a right turn at the top of the hill.

At the end of Broad Lane, there is a T junction. Turn right.

Follow for about quarter of a mile and turn left to pass in front of "The Top Pub".

Follow the road to the T junction. Turn left (it's a sharp turn)

Follow the road down to the school and turn right at the phone box in the square in front of the church/school then follow the road down to us.

We are not yet sure of the official diversions but the route below is the safest, with the widest passing places!

Ages 6-11 at 5.00pm
Ages 12-16 at 6.00pm

Cost is £12.00 per session, payable half termly in advance. However, for new participants, you can have a trial session first before paying the remainder.

🏕️ SUMMER CAMP 2024 🏕️ 2/3 Saxon, B, Patch and Bess all had a fab time taking our riders around the cross-country jumps in the field! ⭐ And a well-done to our riders, who weren't put off when it started to rain there at the end ☔

Let's talk about the funnest activity we had this summer... 🏕️ SUMMER CAMP 2024 🏕️ 1/3 Theory: pony games are twice as fun when done bareback 🤔 Proof: B taking himself off for a canter on the way back 🤣🏃

Desensitizing is an important part of training young horses: sometimes, it happens on purpose... And sometimes the skip collector arrives just as you're fetching in 🤷🏻‍♀️ Gem was a brave girl and seemed completely unbothered by the big, scary truck 💪

As our clients know, we love a bit of loose jumping! It's a great way to let horses find their own feet while also blowing off some steam 🔥 📸 Stan, making light work of a two-stride double 🤩

Anyone who's raised a young horse knows that there are a lot of small milestones: like having your first rug on! Gem took to it very well, like the gem she is! 💎🤎

A free grazing swap over... With a stop for a chat along the way! 😚 📸 Alfie going through the gate like he's supposed to; Ted and Oakley being numpties 🤭 P.S. This was clearly taken in the last bit of sunshine we had... So about two weeks ago 🤣

Mounted games are great because... ✅ They're a fun way to practice steering ✅ Flexing in and out of cones helps to keep horses big (and small!) supple ✅ They're just as fun as you remember when you were a kid After so many years with us, Sam and Snowy are pros at guiding our young riders through the course 😎🥰

Sunday vibes with Diago 😴💤 It's a tough life... We wonder what he's dreaming about: grass, running free, stamping his feet like he does in the video? 🐎🤣
