The last photo to guess was a pictus gecko egg, so today I though we could try guess what sheds these are from.

They are all separate, from individual animals that are one of few reptiles that live in a community. Thats the clue

What a great night at wildtime, celebrating pancake day ( a day late).
As per usual, loads of kids, great fun and lots learnt.

We made our own pancakes with animal safe ingredients, but learnt about items that are nutritional for animals and whats a good treat, and what we should avoid.

Wildtime today!

So while its pancake day today, we are celebrating it tomorrow at wildtime.

This is our kids animal club that we have been running for over 17 years now.
Tomorrow night we will be making animal safe pancakes for some of our animals .
While fun, its all about learning what makes up a natural , nutritional and balanced diet for animals.

Starts 5:30, £5 per child, no need to book, and newcomers welcome!!!

I like to use this post to share some photos from the shine club we did the other day. Nothing gets better than SHINE CLUB.
The shine club is a social gathering ran by some absolutely fantastic people where they help adults with special needs to socialise and make friends.
They invite me multiple times a year to do animal talks for them and I bloody love doing it.
These are some of the nicest people you will ever meet , many are visitors to our centre too, but its such a joy to see them out enjoying life with eachother, and I always feel so privileged when they invite me back to do more talks.

Important reminder

For anyone who either forgot or wasn't at the last wildtime kids club.

We have had to swap wildtime around.
So it has been postponed tonight and instead will be next Wednesday instead

The reason is every single year we do a huge animal safe pancake making session and learn about safe diets for animals, unfortunately pancake day fell on the wrong week for us, so we will be doing wildtime next Wednesday instead !!!!!!

Now all the kids are back at school, I just wanted to say a huge shout out to all the sessions we did over the half term ,including the organisations that booked us too. We reached over 1000 people with our out reach programmes

Cool fun thing. Thid Mediterranean gecko was found in a piece of our own Cork.
This is the 5th time in all the years we have been going that we have found one of these in Cork from our supplier.

Stowaways are normally found on fruits and suitcases but there's been a good few other shops we know whom have found these too.

Who knows what you might get next time you buy Cork ( cases are bu**er all)

Just a query to gather interest. Prior to covid, we used to run trips to zoos, animal parks and other natural based opportunities for days out. Is this something people would be interested in for the future again ?

If so it would be a coach collection from outside our centre and to the zoo, and a return trip within the day for a set price.

Of course many of you can go in cars of Course, but we meet so many families that don't drive or unable to afford to go to these places , so would like to try make it more accessible and affordable with a package deal.
