Bella was back today for the 2nd of her three puppy introduction sessions .

The 2nd session is a short bath and drying session to introduce her to the hydrobath and fluff dryers.

Jess, we are so proud of you today.

Jess really struggles with anxiety while she is away from her mum, Roxy and human mum, Charlotte. But we have found it challenging to groom mum and daughter together in the past.

Jess also isn't very keen on being brushed too.

Today, after much hard work at home from Charlotte with Jess. Jess managed a full groom.

Honestly, it totally made our day. Jess loved the Yak chew which we give her as a treat.

She likes to sleep under the dryer.

She loved the little bed for her rest this afternoon.

Often, we think that only curly or long haired dogs like Tetley need regularly grooming. However, short haired dogs like Winston the Boxer can always benefit too.

Just because your dog doesn’t need a haircut, it doesn’t mean you should skip trip to Spruced Up.

Today, Winston had a full bath with deep shine shampoo to remove all dander, dead hair, flaky skin and smell of fox poo. He had a high velocity dry and light dry to ensure his coat was completely dry which takes longer than you would probably expect. He had his nails clipped and filed, his ears cleaned, eyes cleaned, all his hygiene trimed and feet checked and foot and nose balm messaged in and some cologne to finish.

Oh and a play with a ball at the start and finish.

While having a break yesterday , Willow decided that Daisy's dog bed looked much more comfortable and kicked her little sister out.

Poor Daisy, no sisterhood here.

Have you ever had a stone in your shoe?

If so, then you know how your dog feels if it has hair knots in its pads.

Hair knots are caused by excess hair growth in between your dogs pads.

It's painful and sore your dog may try to bite them out or limp sometimes. It can be difficult to see or feel them and it can be hard to get them out.

Never try to cut them out with scissors.

We offer pad triming as a separate service which is ideal for in-between grooms

Tiff and Ringo have an amazing relationship going on. Ringo had an awful accident while out walking several years ago. It has made him very nervous about being groomed in particular around his feet and bottom. In the past l, he would shake and try to bite out of fear Look at him now he and Tiff have a lovely understanding and trust each other. It's wonderful to see the confidence that Tiff has developed .

Happiness after a day with lots of lovely dogs. Evening walk on the beach with our wonderful dogs. Total happiness

Lenny was keen to give Tiff a bath of kisses yesterday. He is an absolute big softly who just wants to love you all the time.
