Albarosa Stud and Training Centre Family run stud and training centre set at the foot of the Cleveland Hills. Specialising in the retraining of racehorses. BD U25 B squad rider 2018 & 2019.

Home to top class sport horse stallions and Broodmares, we also provide clinics and a training venue horses and riders of all levels. A little about Charlotte below.......
British Dressage U25 Foundation Academy Athlete 2018-19 & 2019-20
Selected for British Equestrian Young Professionals programme 2021-2022 (funded by Sports England)
2019 Novice Silver freestyle to music Regional Champion. Fully

registered BD & BE rider. Available for all tasks, from competing horses, to grooming, to clipping, to Yard sitting. Currently holds B test and lunging test, worked for top showing stud, and also worked as a travelling groom. Groomed at shows such as HOYS, GYS, RIHS, Royal Highland, and Showjumping development and classic shows, as well as British events. Member of the regional BYRDS B Squad. Been riding for 18 years, competed in showjumping, eventing, showing and currently a member of the Regional BYRDS B squad. Can travel to suit. Competitive rates, with a friendly service guaranteed. Two of our future stud stars!

Rising 2yr old trakenher C**t "Lil Graff" (Grafenstolz x Abdullah x Abentanz) on the left and 3yr old TB C**t "Sharp Sands" (Sands of Mali x Kodiac) on the right!

We are looking at offering Sharp Sands for stud duties to an extremely limited number of mares in 2025! He is a very exciting prospect, with the most incredible laid back temperament and excellent paces to match 👏 currently standing at 16hh, he should add a little more height onto mares than our current TB Stallion Firestick, who is also available for stud duties in 2025.

Happy new year from the team here at Albarosa Stud!

2025 is set to be an exciting year.

We do currently have 1 stable available for ridden livery packages, from holiday to backing to competition and training.

Lessons and freelance ridden sessions are available from 2nd January 2025 onwards.
£25 for private 45min lessons and £30 for freelance ridden sessions.

Stud package information will be following in the next couple of weeks.

A rather wet and windy start to the day!

The first two of the day working on their rehab - the first horse had been treated for kissing spine, so work over poles and bending making sure they work correctly over her back and her frame to build muscle up correctly to support her spine, and the second horse of the day was Firestick building up his strength and fitness out on the roads! A nice 1hr 30 hack out in the wind and rain was exactly what we both needed 🙌
Then back home, a change of waterproofs then onto the babies!

I've had a few messages over the last couple of days asking for lesson and freelance ridden availability.

Up until Christmas I am only available to teach/ride from my base in Stokesley.

Flatwork sessions available on a Tuesday afternoon from 2pm until 7pm
Polework/Jumping sessions available on a Thursday afternoon from 2pm until 7pm
Gridwork clinics - 30th November and 14th December from 11am onwards.

The young boys making the most of what looks like it may be their last night out for a while!

It's nice how well young Marley (sharp sands) has settled into the herd having ran on the flat not even 3 weeks ago before coming to us for some rest and let down.

In the pic we have (left to right)

BD U25 B Squad Rider 2018

Has experience working on International Dressage and Eventing yards, working with Breakers and young horses to top level competition horses. Worked in one of the top showing studs in the country, with Stallions, show ponies, and youngstock. Previously worked as a Travelling groom, grooming at shows such as HOYs, RHS, BSJA development classic shows to name a few.

Currently holds Pony Club B test, Lungeing and Riding road safety - the equivalent to Stage 3 BHS exams in Lungeing, Riding, Care and Management and Coaching.
