We're delighted to announce that the bill to increase maximum sentences for animal cruelty from six months to five years has finally passed through parliament! 🎉 Blue Cross has campaigned for this law, with other animal welfare charities, for many years and we are delighted that progress has happened. This law will now send a message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.

Happy 1st birthday to our youngest boy Alfie!

We rescued Alfie not too long ago, and he’s come so far ever since!

From not knowing his name, not knowing how to play, being scared of children and so much more to having a name change, playing like ALL the time and loving our Isabella, we think he’s doing just fine ❤️

It was recently Sumo’s birthday, and he requested that he have a cake to celebrate his special day!

The only thing is, he couldn’t help himself and ate the whole thing in one 🙊

Here at HLB we try our best to package our products in green materials, that minimally affect our planet 🌎

This is why we take the time to choose packaging that is kind on our carbon footprint, and on our wildlife ❤️

All of our packaging is recyclable and almost all of our packaging (except for the plastic window in the cupcake holders) is biodegradable!

As we grow as a business we will continue to be kind to our planet, with lots of new ideas to be as environmentally friendly as possible ❤️
