I really like some of the suggestions in this article on training a 🐶 dog, that can be a bit jumpy or mouthy.

During the early hours of this morning Felix had another myoclonic seizure. He’s doing ok - his for a bit but did pop out to say hi to friend. He’ll be unsettled for a day or so before being his normal cheeky self.

As many of you will know, Felix is our beautiful (yet cheeky) moggy who has Feline Epilepsy. It’s not as common for cats to have it as it is in dogs, and in Felix’s case his seizures are irregular and has no known cause.

But I’d like to bring this cause to your attention because he’s part of our community. And as fellow animal lovers, I’d like to help make you aware of this condition.

I know it’s not snowing - I wish it were though, as atleast then it would be magical and not just cold 🥶 😂 But on a serious note, wrap up warm - the flu going round just now is awful!!! Don’t forget the Furries too - they often need an extra layer when it’s cold outside! Especially if they get groomed 😍

You know when people say they’re Thankful? I am sooo Thankful Winnie and I made it out and back home before all this mad rain started!! I have all my gear on (hat,🧣 and 🧤) but not even Winnie wants to be out in this!!

Help researchers if you can - by taking part in this survey about indoor cats 🐈‍⬛

🐈 If you have one or two indoor-only cats between 6 months and 13 years of age, you can help researchers at the University of Edinburgh with a study about environmental enrichment! 😺

Feline expert Professor Danielle Gunn-Moore and her team are investigating the impact of environmental enrichment on the wellbeing of indoor cats. The study will compare four enrichment methods:

🐾 Daily playing using a wand toy
🐾 15 minutes of Cat TV per day
🐾 Installation of a Feliway Diffuser
🐾 Encouraging food foraging

Those who participate will be assigned one of these methods to try over 14 days.
