Hi everyone! We know it’s been a while, and hope that you’re all keeping safe and well 🥰.

Duncan and I have now settled in Kent, and although both working, there’s good news! We are available to housesit and offer pet care over weekends, bank holidays and weekdays (if local to us or we are off work)🥳.

Although we’re not doing this full time as we used to, we’re still as passionate about pet sitting and offering you the best friendly service, as we’ve ever been!

Taking bookings for Christmas and New Year now 🎆🎄🎅. We look forward to hearing from you!

UPDATE ON OUR SERVICES 🐕

We'd like to thank all our lovely clients for their continued support and a busy summer schedule for us.

Unfortunately we are no longer taking on new house sits, and will be referring some of our current clients to other local help due to a change in our circumstances.

All clients will be emailed this week with the full updated details.

Duncan and I would like to thank you for your continued support through these changing times. Sadly it is not possible for Duncan and I to continue being as busy as we are, due to the fact I'm now working away.

We hope everyone understands, and we look forward to being in touch.

Hello Everyone, and welcome to our page 'Sussex Downs Housesitting'. We are a new business, but don't let that put you off as we have plenty of experience 😊.

My name is Iona, and I grew up in the Cambridgeshire agricultural countryside with labradors and ponies, alongside cats, Guinea Pigs, and chickens which we had at the family home. I now have two horses, Barney and Sq**rt and used to show ponies in my early years.

Duncan is my partner, who also grew up in the countryside, at the foot of the downs. He is a gardener and loves to be outdoors, keeping busy through all weathers . He grew up with Spaniels and we love to share long walks in the countryside.

Together, we share our love for animals and housesitting and want to ensure that your home and pets are happy and safe for the duration of our stay. We have extensive house and pet sitting experience (Inc pop in visits) having looked after urban apartments with fish, all the way through to small country estates and well stocked farms.

Although based in Storrington, we are happy to travel and are available through all seasons and celebrationary periods throughout the year.

We are a warm, friendly and professional team with DBS, Insurance and references.
