Everyone meet Reggie!

Reggie is a super sweet XL Bully who spent an hour in our secure field today. He had the best time, running around and playing with his ball and his owner enjoyed sitting on the bench in the sun watching her boy live his best life ❤️🐾
We welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes in our fields.

Missing padlock!
Sorry to ask this but we are trying to get in touch with the lady walking her dog that has taken our electronic padlock whilst the field was in use (padlock was open) we are keen to be reunited with our padlock without having to trawl through all our camera footage.
The padlock is of no use to anyone as it’s controlled remotely via our booking website.
Thank you.

Booking System

Our new web based booked system goes live this Thursday (1st December).

The link below takes you to the website. Please enter your postcode or search for Storrington.

Follow the steps to book (or reschedule) your appointment.

The fields won’t be bookable via the website until Thursday.

1st December Booking System launch!

We will be moving over to an easy to use booking system on the 1st December.
The web based system is very easy to use. The system enables you to book one off visits or regular slots.
The system also means that new visitors won’t need sign paper forms.
Finally, every booking will be given a unique padlock code (via email and text). The code will enable you to access the fields with your own code. The code is generated at the point of payment.

We will be posting the link to the system very soon but please do call us on 01903 741713 if you have bookings after the 1st December and we can help move them to the new schedule.

Booking System!

Over the next few weeks we will be rolling out a webased, easy to use booking calendar!

The perfect day for hiring the Storrington private fields!
Lots of shade in the woodland copse and the paths wind around the entire field. It’s so peaceful here!

We have mown the pathways through both fields. You can now wander along worry free whilst your dogs explore and bounce around in the long grass. Both our fields benefit from lots of shaded areas. We recommend whilst it is particularly hot bringing your own water.

The fields are looking beautiful and slowly becoming meadows!
We are aware that the grass is a little too long and have organised a tractor to visit to cut our pathways and training squares within the next few weeks

The fields have now been mown and is looking fab with tracks and we even have a training square in the 6 acre!

We are having trouble finding someone who can mow the paths back into our fields.
Our usual man isn’t available for the next few weeks.

The fields have long, natural grass which may not be suitable for all dogs.

If anyone knows someone with a tractor who can help, please PM us!

We will update as soon as the mowing has been completed!

Water 🚿

We have had a few issues getting our trough water switched back on.
For the time being, should your dog need a drink after your session, please pop to the Centre to use the tap and bowl outside of our front door.

Christmas Bookings!!

If you haven’t used the fields before and would like to use them over the festive season, please be aware that the forms must be signed ahead of the first visit (or at the start of the session).
The forms are located at our day care Centre (www.Doodleydogs.co.uk) and our Christmas opening hours are 9am - 5pm.
If you plan on visiting outside of these hours, please visit the Centre to sign ahead or we won’t be able to accept the booking.

Early morning rambles in the fields!

Enjoying some early morning freedom in our 12 acre field. We leave it with just paths mown throughout the field to enhance the dogs natural hunting and exploring skills.

Water supply update

Over the last few months we have been battling vandalism in the large field.

The gate has been lifted off its hinges on several occasions and even cable tied shut so we had to cut our way in!
The stopcock has been removed from the trough near the entrance and we’ve repaired it 4 times so far. This has resulted in a bog around the trough and a constant hissing sound.
Unfortunately our neighbours have reported this and the Water Board have temporarily turned off the water supply. This is permanent but whilst we resolve the vandalism issue (we are installing entrance cameras and increasing the height of the fence near the entrance gate.

Please bring along your water or pop into reception with a water bottle and we can fill it up for you!

Apologies for this.... let’s hope the vandals get bored and move on!

Secure field update!

We are aware of the boggy entrance gate to the secure section of the 6 acre field.
We have placed a temporary cap on the tap to give the ground time to dry.
There is a second trough located at the bottom of the field, in the corner nearest to the Tesla buildings. The second trough hasn’t been used in a while and we have cleared the leaves off and set the supply but it may take a few days to replace the old water with fresh (just in case you own a dog who likes to jump in troughs!).
You may want to bring your own water just in case.

It’s hard to describe how tranquil the fields are. They are the perfect place to enjoy owning a dog and to just relax and shut the world out for an hour.
